A/N: This is part two for "Always There For You" so if you haven't read part one, please read that before you read this one!
One day. I'm going to get married in one day. It's hard to imagine that I'm soon going to be walking down the isle to marry my one and only other half. I've spent the whole entire day today with my soon to be husband Leo as we finished up last minute things for the wedding. It was about 5 in the evening and he just dropped me off at home where I come home to find Roxann running around the house like a chicken without its head. "What am I going to wear?" "What am I going to say?" "What are we going to do!?" She exclaimed pacing back and forth. "Woah there Roxann." I said concerned. "What's going on. Why are you acting like if the world is ending?" I asked. "Dee. Mena's coming. Today!" She replied. "Wait what? When you said he was coming, I thought you said like in a week!" I said upset. "Well uh, not necessarily. He's coming in an hour." She said. "An hour?!" I repeated upset. "Roxann!" I didn't have time for this. "That's why I'm panicking. I don't know what to wear and we need to do something! We can't welcome him without dinner or something." She said tidying up the living room. "Does mom know about this?" I asked with arms crossed. Mom suddenly comes in wearing her best clothes and those nice gold dangly earrings. "Don't worry dear we've got this under control. I can whip something up real quick." She said walking right pass Roxann and I. "Of course she knows." Roxann replys. Unbelievable! My whole family knows that Mena is coming and are prepared for this arrival, while I, am suddenly getting hit in the face with this news that he's coming? I began to feel really upset. "And why did no one bother to tell me?" I asked. Roxann shrugged. "I thought you wouldn't care." I rolled my eyes. I do, but I don't care at the same time. "Great well I want everyone to know that I don't care. I'm not changing and I'm not talking or interacting with anyone when Mena comes. And I am certainly not helping out. Count me out." I say crossing my arms tighter. "Dee, can you please help out with dinner?" Mom asked. Roxann gave me a "please?" look. I hesitated but I felt bad for not helping out. "Fine. But just dinner. That's it. And I'm still not changing." I said looking down at my clothes to find my yellow simple sunflower dress cute and appropriate for visitors. After all, whatever that was going to happen didn't matter to me at all. I didn't care. There's just another regular visitor coming over and I wasn't going to pay attention to whoever was coming.
I didn't keep track of the time but an hour passed by past. Roxann did fix up around the house and wore her favorite skirt and matching shirt. Mom and I did end up making dinner and I have to say I'm very proud on my part of the dinner. My wifey material is just going to do fine when I marry Leo. Suddenly the doorbell rings and my heart stopped and beated fast. "That's Mena!" Roxann said happily. "Roxann don't you open that door until I'm gone." I said sternly. Roxann stops walking towards the door and waits for me. My heart began beating fast as I felt nervous. I haven't seen him in years. What will he say? What will I say? What will he think? Would he want to talk to me? I shook these thoughts out of my head as I remembered. I don't care, I don't want to talk to him, and I don't have feelings for him anymore. I took a deep breath as I prepared myself for what's to come. "And that's my cue to leave." I say dropping what I was holding as I start to leave the kitchen when mom grabbed me. "Oh no Dee, please go on and see Mena." She said. I looked at her and took her hand. "Mom please. I don't need to see him. I don't want to see him.." I say. Mom looks at me with a sad look. "Aren't you going to go say hi?" She whispered. I shook my head. "Dee. You have to." She said quietly. "I do not. " I replied. "Dee, you are going to say hi. We didn't raise you like this." She whispers. "Mom, you don't understand. I don't want to see him. I am a grown lady and I'm getting married tomorrow. I don't need to see the guy I used to have feelings for." I replied. Mom frowned. "I'll be down when dinner is ready. Mena is just going to be a regular visitor and I'll not be speaking. That's final." I said as I turned around and ran upstairs towards the closest room as I shut the door. I sat in the room as I hear Roxann open the door and bursts of shouts and welcomes were yelled all over the house.
