"Just don't tell him anything. I'll have to talk to him eventually." I say into the phone as I pace back and forth in my living room. I've been on the phone with Naomi for a good 20 minutes. "I just hope he's not mad." I say. "I don't want him to think the opposite." I add. I stop pacing back and forth and plop myself on the couch, nodding my head. "You're probably right. Well thank you! And, about Monday, I'm not sure if I'll be there. I don't think I'm ready yet, I know I may be acting like it's the end of the world, but this is big for me. I don't think I'm ready to return." I tell her. Naomi explains she understands and will let the rest of the cast and crew know my return will be on Tuesday.

A sudden knock appears on my door and my heart suddenly races. I glanced over at my clock and saw that it read 7:00. "Okay sounds good! Hey I gotta go, he's here." I tell her. "Good luck." Naomi answers. I take a deep breath, hanging up the phone call and placing the phone down as I get up from the couch. I head over to the door, but before I open the door I check myself, fixing my hair and shirt, giving myself a small and quick pep talk.

I open the door with a smile, as my heart races for a moment. I spot Nicky standing in the doorway with a smile. "Y/N!" He says cheerfully. Feeling nervous, I try to keep my smile. "Nicky!" I say. I eye Nicky, who's holding a beautiful bouquet of my favorite flowers. "Please come in." I motion him in, moving to the side of the door. Nicky steps in, taking a good look around my apartment. I close the door behind me, while Nicky turns around. "These are for you." He says giving me the flowers. I smile. "Aw. Thank you Nicky." I tell him, grabbing the bouquet. "They're beautiful." I say admiring the flowers. Nicky continues to look around my apartment. "Woah I like what you've done with the place. It looks great." He says. I look around my place and realize that Nicky and I had been together when I first got my apartment. Ever since we stopped seeing each other, I made some changes and decorated differently. "Yeah well, I figured it needed some changes here and there." I say adding the flowers to a vase in the kitchen. "Well I like it. It gives off a cozy and welcoming feeling." He answers. I smile, placing the vase on the countertop in between the kitchen and living room. "So how've you been?" I ask walking back to the living room where Nicky sits down on the couch. "Good. I'm good. You? How are you holding up? We miss you on set." He asks. I sit next to him, not close, but not far. We kept our distance. "I'm doing ok. I'm better than before." I tell him. Nicky looks at me, his eyes wandering over me. "I missed you." He says softly. I look at him. I missed him too. I missed dancing. I missed my dancer partner, my friend. "Me too." I reply. We both smile as the room fell silent and the two of us just stared at each other. "You look great." Nicky adds to break the silence. I look down at my clothes only to see I'm wearing my sweatpants and cropped shirt, a typical dancer outfit. "Oh this? I always wear this." I say. Nicky chuckles. "The life of a dancer." He replied. I smile, laughing a small laugh. "No but like you're glowing, as you always do. You're smile and eyes. Your attitude. That's what I mean, you look great." He adds. I blush, smiling. "Thanks." I reply.

The room fell silent again. Once again, Nicky's glare is upon me. "I meant it." He says softly. "About how I look?" I ask. He chuckles. "Yes that too." He replied. "I mean that I really did miss you." He says moving closer to me. "Oh Nicky, it was just a few days." I say. "Yeah but it felt like forever. I missed you. Your beautiful soul. My dancing partner. I missed ya twinkle toes." He says with a smile. I knit my eyebrows together, giving him a slight smile. "I told you I missed you too." I say, I then felt my heart stop on that last part. Once again the room felt silent, the two of us sitting at a close yet far distance while the only audible thing we could hear was my wall clock tick by the minute.

My mind began to race over a million thoughts. How was I going to talk to Nicky? This is awkward already I don't want to make things even more awkward. I look over at Nicky who is blushing and smiling. He has that look he had when we danced before. "Nicky." I say clearing my throat. I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I sighed. "I'm glad you're here." I tell him, sitting closer to him so that we are an inch away. "Me too. I'm so glad I get to see you." He adds. "Come on Y/N just tell him how you feel." I thought. "Yeah me too! Now that we're here maybe we can talk." I added, pressing my lips together. Nicky begins to play with his fingers. "Definitely! I think we both have some things to say and talk about." He says. Phew! That's a relief. I smile, glad that he brought it up. "Right!" I tell him.
