15 - Snake Charmer

Sweet Pea's POV

"Right, she's asleep." I said, coming out of the bedroom and shutting the door behind me.

"Is she any better?" asked Fangs, and I sat opposite him at the table.

"A bit. She's really worried." I said. "We just have to pray for a miracle."

"How was the ultrasound?" Fangs asked.

"Wait, I forgot to tell you. It's twins." I said simply.

Fangs choked and spat out his drink on the table. "Twins?"

"Are you deaf?" I asked, pointing to my ears.

"Oh, shut up." Fangs said and kicked me under the table.

Will's POV

"We all got the eviction notices," began FP, the next night at the Wyrm. "But I swear to you, no one is going anywhere. The heat's been on us since Pickens Day, and they're using that damn statue as an excuse to turn it up. But if we're gonna fix this, I got to ask: Is anyone in this room responsible or cutting off Pickens' head?"

"Why don't you ask your son what he has to say?" Tall Boy spoke up, and made his way to the stage where FP was standing.

"What is your problem with me, Tall Boy?" Jughead said angrily.

"You wrote the article that started this mess." Tall Boy answered. "You and your posse fired the opening shot at Pickens Day." We all stood up.

"It was a peaceful protest, turncoat." Toni said, her arms fixed in the crossed position.

"That accoplished nothing." Tall Boy said quickly, "What's to say that you and your boyfriend, didn't go back that that with a ladder and hacksaw?"

Jughead stormed up the steps. "Hey, we didn't do it. Hell, Tall Boy you're the tallest guy in this room. You wouldn't even need a ladder."

"Jughead, Tall Boy," FP said standing in between the two bickering four-year-olds. "The last thing we need right now  is to turn on each other. Hey, we'll find a way out of this."

"We haven't really talked about baby names." I said to Sweet Pea when we were sitting on our couch. "Do you have any ideas?"

"I've always loved the name Noah." he replied. "But if y--"

"I've always loved that name too!" I assured, and placed my hand on his. "I love the name Cassie, for a girl."

"Me too." Sweet Pea replied. I moved towards him to kiss him, but Sweet Pea got up and locked the front door. "So Fangs doesn't interrupt us again." 

"I understand now." I said, and ran over to him and kissed him passionately.

"Jump." he said quietly and I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. I pulled him towards me by the back of the neck and kissed him. 

I removed his t-shirt and then I quickly removed my tank top. He then carried me into our bedroom.

"All right, Order of the Ophidians." Jughead said, putting a poster on the wall and coming towards the cluster of Serpents. We moved to reveal Penny sitting in the middle of the group.

"Jughead Jones." she said, facing the terrified boy. "Did you really think you'd seen the last of me?"

"What's the Snake Charmer doing here? Dad?" Jughead asked.
