Will's POV

"Okay, now just a quick reminder that this School Hall is a PTA-sponsored event." Alice Cooper said into the microphone. Sweet Pea stood up. "Oh! Looks like we have our first question." She pointed to him.

"Yeah. No offence to the current administration, but it doesn't feel like anyone's looking out for the students being bust in from the Southside. Is that going to change?" Sweet Pea asked.

"Absolutely, Sweet Pea. That's our priority." Jughead answered. "And no-one should feel marginalized or excluded here."

"Jughead and I will be representing all students, North and Southside alike." Betty continued.

"Next, question." Alice interrupted. "Yes, Midge."

Midge stood up as Sweet Pea sat down. "My question is for Archie and Veronica." she began. "Rumor has it that your parents will soon be on opposite sides of the mayoral election. Won't that negitively affect your working relationship?"

"Archie and I adhere to the old maxim that: Politics are never discussed at the dinner or the cafeteria table." Veronica said, some people laughed but I just rolled my eyes.

"Veronica and I are on the same page about everything, including her family's plans for a prison on the Southside." Archie added. Some people yelled boo, and I just found it really funny.

"In the meantime, we're committed to improving the quality of life at Riverdale High. Which means more extracurriculars---" Veronica continued, but was cut off by Josie.

"Reggie and I agree, except the fact that we can and will deliver results." she said.

"And we're chill, unlike these guys." Reggie added. Everyone laughed except me, Fangs and Sweet Pea who just rolled our eyes.

"You promised us a war, and then you're on stage looking like Buddy Holly, sucking up to the Northside?" Sweet Pea said annoyed.

"We need those votes, Sweet Pea. It's the only way we can affect any change." Jughead replied. "Whoever's elected gets a seat on the school board. That means we're on the inside, that means that they can't silence us."

"You and the Northside Princess, you mean." Fangs said before everyone turned to Betty.

"Wait, is that why you guys are pissed? Betty's on our side." Jughead responded.

"Yeah, I've helped the Serpents on numerous occasions." Betty said, standing up for herself. "I-I helped find Pickens statue's head. I got Cheryl to testify in court so FP, your king, could get early parole--"

"You did all that for your boyfriend, not the Serpents." I snapped.

"Alright. Take it down guys." Jughead replied.

"What?" I retorted.

"It's only a matter of time before she bails on us, just like her mother." Sweet Pea commented.

"Okay, so your objections aren't even about me, they're about my mom." Betty exclaimed.

"Her legacy. She's an enemy of the Serpent state." Sweet Pea declared. "Taking shots at us in The Register for years. Blaming us for crimes we didn't even commit."

"Running with the turncoat's daughter, is a slap in the face." I added. "And for that reason alone, you're not getting the Serpent vote."

"Hey Toni, what's up?" I asked after accepting a call from Toni.

"Meet me in the gym in 10." she replied.
