16 - Sapphire

Will's POV

"I'm just going to go to the bathroon, Sweets." I told Sweet Pea.

"Okay." he said.

I went to the bathroom, and came out the stall to wash my hands. I was my make-up and then I heard the door swing open. Sapphire came in and stood next to me.

"Hi Sapphire." I said, awkwardly. 

"Hey, it's Will right." Sapphire replied.

"Yeah." I said.

"I just want to say I'm sorry, for what my mom has done to you and your friends." Sapphire said. "Can I tell you something?"

"What?" I asked.

"Penny isn't my mom." Sapphire sighed. "I was adopted, raised by her. The only reason I agreed to help her was too meet you. Can I ask what you're mom's name is?" 

"Mona." I said, "Mona Wilder."

"That's what I thought." she said. She pulled out a rolled up piece of paper. She handed it to me. A birth certificate.

"I'm your sister." she said. I looked at the date of birth.

"Wait, this makes no sense. We have the same birthday." I said.

"Then we're twins." she said. 

"But, we're not." I said. "It says that your dad is Keith James, mine's Evan Fogarty."

"That makes no sense." she said.

"Wait," I said and pulled out my phone quickly. "It's possible for twins to have different fathers." I showed her my phone and she looked at the article I just found. 

"'Mother has twins with seperate fathers in Riverdale.' Look at the picture, is that our mom?" she asked.

"Yes. That's her, the devil in the flesh." I said.

"Wait, 'the devil in the---' what?" she said. I instantly trusted her, she was my sister after all, so I told her my story. 

"Seriously, you were better off with Peabody as a mom." I said.

"That terrible," Sapphie said, and took my hand. "Can I tell you something?"

"What?" I asked. 

"I like your friend Toni, I like like her." Sapphire said. "I'm lesbian."

"She is bi." I said. "Last time she kissed someone was Jughead, but before that, I don't know. But she has a crush on a girl at school, sorry."

"It's not your fault. Can you get her and your other friends to trust me?" she asked.

"Sure, I will. If my other bestie Macie comes back, I can set you up with her." I said. "Sapphire, do you have anywhere to stay?" We both jumped and sat on the area beside the sink and carried on chatting.

"I don't" she said. "By the way, call me Saph or Saphy."

"You can stay in my old trailer, until we get kicked out." I said. "I recently moved in with my boyfriend, Sweet Pea."

"Thank you so much." Saph said. "So, how long have you and Sweet Pea been dating?" 

"About 3 months." I answered, "But, I'm pregnant with his babies."

"Oh my god, congratulations." Saph said.

"Thanks," I said, "Saphy." We exchanged numbers and talked for a bit longer.

"I should go. Sweet Pea must be really worried." I said, and jumped off the sink.

"See you soon." Saph said.

"You took a while." Sweet Pea said, when I finally got out the bathroom. I sighed.

"I just found out a lot of crazy stuff." I said, running a hand through my hair then shoving them in my pockets.

"What?" he asked. "I'll tell you when we get home." I said softly and we drove back to the trailer.

"You're so annoying." he muttered.

When we arrived, I sat on the couch and then Sweet Pea slumped down next to me and handed me a glass of water.

"Thanks," I said, and took a sip before putting it on the coffee table.

"So, what happened?" he asked, basically on the edge of his seat.

"I found out that I have another secret sibling." I said, and sighed.

"Wait, WHAT?!" Sweet Pea replied, taken aback.

"Turns out, Sapphire Peabody is my twin sister." I said. "Because she was adopted by Penny, when my mom gave her away."

"So she's Fangs' sister too." he exclaimed.

"No," I said simply. I pulled up the article I showed Saph on my phone and gave it to him. "She's my half-twin, so we have the same mom, and me and Fangs have the same dad, so they are not related."

"Your mom was very fertile." Sweet Pea joked.

"I told her about the babies, I hope that's okay." I said.

"It's completely fine," he answered. "In a couple of months everyone will realise anyway. I guess that twins run in the family."

"Damn it!" I raged. "I forgot to give her the keys to my old trailer. She has no-where else to stay." I stood up, grabbed my jacket and bike keys, and tied my shoes.

"I'll be back soon, just need to head to the Wyrm and back," I said, and gave Sweet Pea a goodbye kiss.

"Be careful." he said.

"I will, love you bye." I said before stepping out the door.

After a five minute drive, I pulled up at the Wyrm and entered the building. I spotted Sapphire in a corner talking to some Serpents.

"Saph," I said when I'd made my way over to her.

"Hey Will, I thought you went home." Sapphire said.

"I did, I forgot to give you these." I said and handed her the keys. "The keys to the trailer."

"Oh thanks." she said, hugged me and then I left the building.

The drive home was smooth. It was so late that barely anyone was on the road, after a few minutes I turned into the trailer park and parked my bike up next to Sweet Pea's near our rundown trailer.

3 weeks later...

Hiram Lodge has now bought Sunnyside, so Sweet Pea and Will are very excited that they get to stay.

"I'm home." I called out when I entered the trailer. "Pea? Where are you?"

"I'm in the spare room." he shouted. I walked down the hallway to the tiny room in the back. Sweet Pea was in there, with buckets of pale green paint and a box of baby clothes.

"I thought we could paint the nursery." he said. "Then I could ask Fangs, and he'll help us build a dresser. And we can re-paint the cribs I saw in the gara--"

I cut him off by pulling him down to me, and smashing my lips onto his.

"You're so cute in daddy mode." I said.

"I know," Sweet Pea said.

"Let's get painting." I said, clapping my hands together. "We only have 5 months 'til my due date."

"Only 4?" Sweet Pea said amazed. "We'll have to do it fast then."
