Nicole walks into her school with one earphone in her ear currently playing the song 'Hate how much I love you' conveniently enough Waverly Earp comes into her view while doing so. Nicole could've sworn that she could have easily written these lyrics about her current relationship with Waverly. Not that you could even call it a relationship. Friendship is more like it.. besides the fact they do more things together that regular 'friends' shouldn't do. It was all very confusing.

Waverly ran up to Nicole and gave her their usual morning hug. "Hey Nic" Waverly smiled up at her "Hey Waves." Nicole smiled back at the smaller girl. Waverly's hand lingered on Nicole's arm for longer than necessary once they pulled away from the hug. She played around with the loose button on Nicole's sleeve.

"What's up losers." Wynonna walked up towards the two girls with a grey flannel hanging off of one of her shoulders, hair messed up and her lipstick smudged everywhere. Waverly removed herself from Nicole and walked up closer to her big sister once close enough she pulled a screwed up face. She leant down towards her and took a sniff "eww what is that horrible smell?" Wynonna chuckled at her and patted her younger sister on her head like a child "Oh Waverly so naive, so innocent."

Waverly pulled a very cute thoughtful face which Nicole adored. "I think she had sex so that's why is all.. looking like that," Nicole explained. Waverly soon pulled an even more grossed out face than before "what the-! Wynonna! With who? Was it Doc!?" Wynonna placed her hand over her little sister's mouth closing it shut. "Shut up dumbo stop being so loud and yes it was Doc don't tell anyone, especially Xavier." Wynonna slowly cautiously removed her hand from her sister's mouth looking around to see if anyone heard. Not that she cared very much on who knew she had sex she just cared about people knowing who she had been sleeping with.

"But didn't you and Xavier just become official?" Nicole asked worried about her friend Xavier after finding out about this not so little secret. Xavier and herself had a weird bond and she knew that he never, ever lets himself fall in love with anyone but he fell madly in love with Wynonna so, to say the least, this would kill him. Wynonna creased her eyebrows and turned towards Nicole "listen here haughtshot you won't say a word to anyone or I'll knock right you out." Wynonna threatened with panic clearly written in her eyes but she tried her very best to mask it with anger and trying to intimidate Nicole.

Nicole raised her hands up in surrender "I won't say anything. But you definitely need to say something." Nicole responded as calmly as she could muster up with Wynonna standing in front of her looking like she was going to strangle her. Wynonna reached out and went to wrap her hands around Nicole's neck "Wynonna! Leave her alone she is just trying to do the right thing." Waverly jumped in between the two older girls puffing her chest out to her sister, Waverly's back turned towards Nicole trying her very best to protect her. She was so small but extremely fiery.

Wynonna looked her sister up and down after a moment of what could only be explained as unspoken sibling telepathy, Wynonna backed down after understanding that Waverly desperately didn't want Nicole to be hurt. Nicole was still very confused to what the heck just happened and how they could just speak to each other without actually talking to each other but either way she was extremely grateful for Waverly stepping in.

"Listen, I won't say anything to anyone I just really think that you need to say something to Xavier. This isn't a game Wynonna. These are people's heart's your playing. Because it's just not right to string people along and confuse them.. they could be fragile." Nicole ranted on getting a little emotional, both other girls understood what she was trying to say but were confused to where this all was coming from. It seemed a bit personal.

"Hi, guys!!" Jeremy ran up to the three girls interrupting the tension that was building. Wynonna grunted under her breath and Waverly in return bumped her with her shoulder. "Hey, Jeremy what's up?" Waverly cheerfully replied. Nicole often wondered how she became so good at switching on her happiness for others or at least pretending to be happy for others. Nicole didn't very much like the thought of her 'pretending to be happy' so she just imagined her always feeling happy.
