News Woman ;
"Thankfully our hero's where here to protect us from that savage group of villains, If it weren't for them who knows how serious it could have been."
Civilian Man ;
"Yea but if those things didn't exist then we wouldn't be having to deal with any of this crap! They're not people or heroes, their just dirty animals!"

*sigh* "Don't these people know by now no matter how hard they try, not every one is going to be so accepting towards us in todays society. I mean it's been a year and our kind is still looked down upon." The pale young man with shoulder length, wavy black hair and pointed black ears said as he sat on the couch combing out his jet black fluffy tail.
"I don't know why they hate us so much" A young girl with red strawberry colored hair commented as she joined her brother, Yukio, on the couch.
"I hope one day I can make them see we aren't as horrible as they think we are" She commented.
Yukio looked over at his baby sister who was gathering the front of her hair, she tied it behind her long red pointed fox ears with a beautiful blue bow, exposing her little freckles on her face.
"Just don't get your hopes up to high, you know how people are.. c'mon Akira, lets head out now, we need to find a couple jobs to do, our funds are running low and I don't feel like hunting for dinner tonight" He said throwing on a clean shirt. She let out a long sigh, quickly brushed out her long, furry, red tail as she followed behind her big brother out the door.
"We'll make our way downtown and see if anyone needs help, I seen a lot of rundown shops on our way in last week."
*Walking through the town*
"Yukio, people are staring.." She whispered to her brother.
"Don't pay them any mind. They're not use to our kind around these parts." He said grabbing her hand and positioning her ahead of himself so no one was behind her.
She stopped for a moment in her tracks as she felt her nerves starting to get the better of herself "Yes.. but I don't want what happened in the last town to happen here. They almost killed you.." the nervous fox said with her head down.
The young wolf looked down at his sister "Ears perked and head up, don't be ashamed of what you are. Don't show them any signs of weakness, Akira. Walk in confidence and strength in your stride, otherwise this world will eat you alive kid." He sternly remarked as he perked her chin up gently with his finger.
She quickly snapped out of it "Right" she smirked and continued walking with much more confidence now. 'I need to remember I'm not that weakling I was all those years ago, I've grown much stronger now' The little fox thought to herself.
-10 months earlier that night-
"Tonight's dinners going to be so yummy! I can't wait!" The excited freckled girl squealed.
"You bet it is! I'm going to cook dads famous steaks with moms homemade mashed potato and gravy recipe, just the way you like it" The wolf said carrying the groceries in one hand and holding his sisters hand with his other, keeping her close to him as they walked down the dark, cobblestone alley.
