{Cybele}

It was now lunch time. School has been really boring and lifeless to me. Jenna, right now, was doing her best to try and get me to smile but it wasn't working. Not even when she accidentally fell off of her seat and onto the floor did that make me laugh.

I haven't seen Michael yet, but Jenna told me that he's been talking with Sarah lately. I doubt Sarah can fix anything that's going on right now.

She might be a witch, but not everything can be saved. Not everything can happen the way you want it to. Although I wish everything could turn out the way you would like it, to bad that only happens in fairy tales.

Some then sat down on my left, Jenna sits on the right of me. I knew it was Michael, but I didn't look up at him, I didn't want to know what ever he did about Aiden.

"Hey, are you alright?" A new voice asked me. I wasn't really shocked though, nothing shocks me anymore.

I just nodded my head as a reply. If i talked I would break down crying and I didn't want that right now. As much as I loved Aiden, I was just a mistake in his way of finding his true love.

"You want something to eat?" Zander asked me. I shook my head no and Jenna then pushed some of her sandwich towards me, even though I just told her that I wasn't hungry.

"Cybele, you're eating. The last time you ate was yesterday just before school started. You've got to be hungry by now, and I'm not going to let my best friend starve herself," Jenna told me. I just kept my head on the lunch table and this time I flew my hood over my head.

"Cybele, forget about him for a while. Will you please just eat? For me? You're best friend?" Jenna begged me. It was true that for some reason I wasn't that hungry.

I then felt more food being pushed in front of me. I looked up to see that Zander gave me half of his sandwich and an apple. I still wasn't hungry though.

"Please Cybele? Your friend is begging you and now I am," Zander begged. I couldn't help but show the smile that crawled up my face, since when do boys beg for girls to eat.

"Thank you! I've been trying to get her to smile since yesterday," Jenna said to Zander. I reached out and grabbed the apple. As long as I ate something Jenna would be happy with me.

"Not just the apple, eat half of my sandwich to," Jenna warned. I then grabbed her sandwich and kept the hood covering my face. That is, until someone then took my hood off. I looked at Jenna but she didn't do anything.

I turned to Zander to see he had a smirk on his face. For once, I was able to smile at how something was funny. He even had a smile on his face and Jenna looked surprised.

"What's so funny?" Zander asked me. Jenna was still shocked from me smiling. I then pulled my hood over my head and place my head in my arms.

"You begged," I mumbled. We all continued to eat and for once, I was actually hungry. I forgot about Michael and Aiden for once. I was able to eat while forgetting about everything Aiden did to me. Maybe I can be happy without Aiden for once.

{Aiden}

"Get out of my head!" I yelled to Desana, who was still in my head after she made Sarah leave. She just started laughing, and it was really creepy, like the ones you hear in movies.

"What's going to happen to Cybele?" I asked Desana. I just want Cybele to be ok, but if she's hurt or crying, then I'm breaking out of Desana's hold on me. I swear I would never let anything happen to Cybele, even if I had to die.

"Aw, you fear that Cybele is hurt, well I'll show you how hurt she really is," Desana told me. Something started to flash, and then I saw Cybele, but she didn't look heartbroken and she wasn't crying.

She was laughing with Jenna next to her and some guy that I can't remember. But I know I've seen him around before. Before I could remember who he was Desana takes the memory away.

That's impossible, Sarah said that Cybele saw everything, something must have happened to her then. No, what Desana is showing me is all a lie. She just doesn't want me to leave her for Cybele.

"I'll say it one more time, get out of my head! I'm not in love with you! You're not going to be queen! Cybele will be queen before you ever set foot on my kingdom! I love her!" I yelled out all my anger towards Desana, along with all my love for Cybele.

I opened my eyes fully to see myself lying down on a couch with Desana passed out on the floor. I looked down at myself, I would never forgive myself if I didn't have any clothes on right now.

I grabbed the necklace that was still around Desana's neck, and broke the blue stone, so she could never get to me again.

I walked out of the house and found out that I had no idea where in the world I am. How far away am I from school or even Cybele's house. I took off my clothes behind a bush and then changed into a hawk to try and find out where I am from the sky. I'm coming Cybele.

{Sarah}

"Sarah, do you know what happened to Aiden or not?" Alex started off. I just got done at school with talking to Michael, he's keeping an eye on Cybele for the rest of the day.

I can't believe I didn't see it before, there's always been a reason for me hating sirens, and now you know why.

"I do, have you ever heard of something called a siren?" I asked Alex, wondering how many magical creatures he knew about.

"Yes, at one time the hunters were talking about capturing some sirens. They all said that you can kill a siren by breaking the stone they wear around their neck. Is that what happened to Aiden? A siren got to him?" Alex asked me.

"Sadly yes, and if he doesn't break soon, I'm afraid Cybele's heart will stop beating soon. She could die if Aiden doesn't break that spell from the siren any time soon," I explained to Alex. I know it's not what he wanted to hear, but he knew what could happen if Aiden didn't start acting right.

"No, please tell me there's another way to save Cybele, make her laugh, something else besides Aiden," Alex begged me. Looking up into his eyes was a big mistake, his eyes were glassy, and he looked like a little boy that just got told his parents were going to die.

"I'm sorry Alex, you even knew that outcome if this happened to either one of them. They both must know how much they realise each other or else one of them will die. Neither of them can live without each other, that's why Cybele was destined to break Aiden's curse," I explained once again to Alex. He knew all of this, he just refused to believe any of it.

"So what now? How much time until Cybele's heart starts to slow down?" Alex asked me, something I really didn't want to know either. I felt for Cybele's heart beat, and how in sync is still was.

"I give it about two days until it starts to slow, once it starts to slow, she only has an hour left. I doesn't matter if she's laughing, or if she's actually happy, she needs to know how much Aiden loves her," I informed Alex. Then I felt two more people in this house, I knew they were listening to us the whole time.

"We knew our daughter was special, but are you sure nothing else can prevent her from dying?" Mrs. Grey asked me. I shook my head yes and she broke down in her husbands arms.

"Just remember, anything can happen in 48 hours, whether it's good or bad, anything can happen," Were my last words before I had to leave. I got up from the couch and just watched as Alex ran up to his room and started smashing stuff while his parents just continued to cry for their only daughter that would die within 48 hours.

I was even crying to, none of this was suppose to happen. Aiden and Cybele were suppose to have a happily ever after and not go threw any of this stuff.

Author's notes:

Sorry for the long update, I just couldn't really think so it took me a while to get this chapter. That and I was worried about my grades for school. I'm so nervous for language, I really stink at that class! :(
