Dominick and Madalyn allowed Olivia's family to help, but Madalyn set up a payment plan with Olivia's parents to take the burden off Olivia and Dominick. It had been about a month since everything had gone down and Olivia's hours had finally slowed at the bookstore and Dominick was caught up in all of his classes and the pair finally had time to relax together.

"Hey, what do you want to do today?" Olivia questioned wrapping her arms around Dominick's waist as he cooked breakfast.

"Spend the entire day with you. I've missed you and we really haven't had time to focus on us, " Dominick spoke flipping the French Toast.

"Mm, that sounds really nice. What do you have in mind?"

"I was thinking we could have breakfast, obviously, and then just play it by ear until this evening. I have plans for us tonight, " Dominick spoke sneakily.

"Like what?" Olivia inquired hoping to pry it out of him.

"Uh, it's a surprise. I have some plans, don't worry, you'll love it."

"Will I? I hate surprises, Dominick."

"I promise, this is a good one, " Dominick spoke moving so he could kiss the top of her head.

They ate breakfast and enjoyed each other's company around the house before they decided to go out. Olivia showered first and got dressed while Dominick showered and shaved. Both of them had chosen some jeans, Olivia had opted for a long sleeve hoodie material shirt while Dom went for a tee, they both kept their shoes casual. They had decided a nice walk through central park would be nice and they'd be able to talk.

"What's the plan for this week?" Dominick asked after they got on the scenic park route they both love.

"I have my usual classes unless something gets canceled and I work Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday."

"Okay, so the afternoon-evening shift on Tuesday and Thursday, what about the weekend?" Dominick asked trying to plan his week.

"I work the afternoon until closing on Friday, I open and close on Saturday, and I open Sunday and work until noon, " Olivia smiled, knowing this week would be a long week.

"Okay, so it's another week of not seeing you, " Dominick sighed pulling Olivia close.

"Why? I thought you had an easy work schedule this week, " Olivia sighed becoming visibly upset.

"I do, but the pickup lacrosse team I'm on plays three times this week because spring is right around the corner."

"We're busy adults and it sucks, " Olivia sighed.

"It'll be different, life will calm down when we have careers and we can build or buy a home, and get married. It may be a while, but we have this."

"We've got this. Soon we'll be aunts and uncles though. Kathy is due in June and I'm sure she and Elliot will need extra hands every once in a while."

"I'm sure they will. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I got my acceptance letter to Cornell Law School yesterday, " Dominick spoke excitedly about the new adventure he'd start in the fall.

Olivia stopped walking, "you did?" Her eyes were wide and full of excitement for her boyfriend.

"Yeah, I start in the fall."

Olivia grabbed the strings of Dominick's sweatshirt and pulled him into a congratulatory kiss. Dom's arms wrapped around her lower back holding her against his body.

"I'm so proud of you!" She spoke when they finally pulled apart.

"Thank you, baby."

They continued to walk and talk about anything and everything. School was the topic for a while, Olivia finally decided to settle on a major in Criminology with a minor in Forensic Science. She had already taken so many credits she finally decided to make it her main studies. What wasn't clear to Olivia until now was that Cornell is four hours from where they live now.

"Dominick, " Olivia questioned gently as they made their way back to the apartment.

"Yes, beautiful?"

"When you go to law school, um, are you going to travel eight hours every day to go to school for the next three years?"

"What do you mean?"

"We live in Manhattan and Ithaca is four hours north, " Olivia spoke trying to paint a picture.

"Um, I don't know. When I applied for the spot we weren't dating yet. I was a single man living in a bachelor pad. My reply has to be in by June so we'll figure it out before then, " he sighed knowing he'd have to make a decision, "let's not worry about it today, okay?"

"Okay, " Olivia pretended to let it drop, but inside her head, every gear was turning and all possibilities were racing a mile a minute.

They got back to the apartment and Dominick told Olivia that they were going out to meet some friends at a nightclub in Brooklyn. She had shut herself in the closet to change and had decided on something a little racier than usual. She had pulled on a new matching thong and bralette set really feeling herself tonight, on top of it she pulled on a cute red romper with a necktie that just covered her bootie with a completely open back.

"Olivia are you almost ready?" Dominick asked knocking on the closet door.

She opened the door and spun for her boyfriend, "how do I look?" She asked with a brighter than life smile.

"Gorgeous, " he spoke his eyes wide open trying not to stare at his gorgeous girlfriend.

"Just let me throw a few curls in my hair and throw on some mascara and we can go, " she spoke standing on her tip-toes to kiss Dom's lips.

They met up with everyone but Kathy and Elliot and Olivia had her first drink of alcohol officially. Tequila and dancing until two in the morning was a fun way to finally celebrate Olivia's twenty-first birthday but as they drove home Olivia couldn't see straight looking at how hot Dom looked.

Her hand crept slowly up his thigh and finally reached his member as Dom parked the car. Dominick gave her a look of confusion as she bit her lip and giggled. They made it into the elevator before Olivia threw herself onto Dominick and captured his lips in a long, hot, nerve firing kiss. Dominick held her to him by her ass as she ravished his mouth. He was completely sober as he'd only had one beer hours ago, Olivia, on the other hand, was very tipsy maybe even drunk. She pulled away for air when the elevator dinged.

"Take me to bed, " Olivia whispered sexily into Dominick's ear with hot air.

"You're drunk, " he spoke being a gentleman.

"So, I am giving permission, " she sighed frustrated as he locked the door behind them.

"It doesn't matter if you're intoxicated."

"Ugh, " she grumbled kissing him again.

He could feel his member stirring beneath her long legs that were stepped around his waist. He got to the bedroom and sat her down on her own two feet breaking the kiss. She scowled.

"Olivia, I will not have sex with you intoxicated, now get changed and I'll get you some water, and we'll go to bed, " Dominick spoke standing his ground against his adorably grumpy and drunk girlfriend.

"Fine, " she spoke going to the closet while he went to the kitchen.

He knew she'd have a hangover from hell in the morning, but he was glad she had fun tonight and let go for once. And he was glad she was with him, a gentleman that wouldn't take advantage of the pretty girl in front of him. Going back to the bedroom she was already fast asleep under the covers, so he placed water and Advil on her nightstand before climbing in beside her and falling asleep too.
