{Forty-Eight}

Sawyer's first birthday was upon them and Olivia still hadn't found the perfect time to tell Dominick he was going to be a daddy to two. She had gotten her pregnancy confirmed a few days after the pregnancy test in Target, and found out she was only four weeks along. It was still early, but she couldn't help but be excited. She and Dominick had gotten up early to decorate the house and she figured now was better than ever.

"Dominick, " she whispered as he hung streamers around their living room.

"Yes, babe?"

"Uh, I need to tell you something."

Dominick got down off the ladder and wrapped his arms around Olivia's waist. Her hands came up to rest on his shoulders while his big blue eyes focused solely on her. She bit the inside of her cheek and kissed the corner of her husband's lips.

"Are you going to tell me or make me pry it out of you?"

"We're pregnant, " Olivia smiled brightly.

She watched a smile and surprise cover her husband's face as he dipped her in a kiss. When they finally pulled apart Dominick lifted the edge of his tee-shirt over his wife's midsection.

"Hey little one, " he whispered, placing a kiss just above his wife's navel.

"I'm five weeks along and due on June second."

"God, I'm so excited, when can we tell everyone?"

"I have a shirt for Sawyer to wear that says 'Big Brother', I know it's cheesy but I thought it might be cute for him to wear it today."

"I think that's perfect, maybe we can have him change into it after his cake smash?"

"Awesome thinking, " Olivia got on her tip-toes and placed another loving kiss to her husband's lips, "I love you, but get back to work because our monster will be up anytime now."

"Back to hanging streamers, I go, " he placed a final kiss to his wife's temple before climbing back up the ladder.

Olivia had just stepped out of the shower when Sawyer squealed through the baby monitor. Dominick was outside working cleaning the grill so Olivia wrapped herself up and padded down the hallway. Sawyer was standing in his crib and began clapping when he saw his momma.

"Mumma, Mumma, Mumma, " he squealed happily over and over again until Olivia lifted him out.

"Hello, my big boy, " Olivia cooed as she laid him down to be changed.

"Mumma!" He smiled brightly.

"Did you sleep well?" Olivia questioned strapping him into a new diaper.

Sawyer nodded quickly clapping his hands together as Olivia stood him up so she could easily move him to her hip. They padded together down the hallway and Sawyer gasped at the sight of their living room from the open upstairs hallway.

"Blue, Momma, blue, " Sawyer pointed at the colorful streamers.

"Yeah, they're blue, huh?" Olivia smiled kissing her son's cheek.

"Why blue, Momma?"

"It's your birthday."

"B--b--b, " Sawyer grunted and scowled in defeat.

"Birthday, " Olivia spoke a bit slower.

"Brif-day."

Olivia snickered and smiled, "good job, Soy."

Olivia got ready for the day before making her way downstairs to feed, bathe, and clothe her son. Dominick came through the door as Olivia finished feeding their boy. His arms wrapped around her waist as his lips landed on her neck.
