6. hottie

Last night, Lauren got a text from Daniel. He wanted to meet her today at this cute, romantic restaurant-she hadn't been there before.

She slipped on a white spaghetti strapped-cropped top and skinny ripped jeans that hugged her hips and waist nicely. She layered a chain on her neck because she's a sucker for chain.

As usual, spraying her favorite scent of vanilla on her body. She coated her lips with birthday cake lip smackers gloss, making her lips look plump (she loves flavored gloss and balm). She curled her hair and brushed it after to make it wavy.

She checked herself in the mirror a lot of time. When she's about to step out, she turned back to the mirror to check herself once again. Well, she had a 'date' with Daniel. Of course, she had to look hot.

She drove to the restaurant in which Daniel had sent her the location. It's about 15 minutes away from Christina's apartment. When she's arrived, she muttered "aww. this place is cute."

It's white, with a little bit of wooden touch. It looked modern but vintage at the same time. She saw Daniel and waved at him.

Daniel saw her and smiled. He looked her up and down as he bit his lip. "Damn. She's hot." He mumbled softly, not wanting Lauren to hear him.

"Sorry?" Lauren came over to him, sitting across him.

"Nothing. You look good." He said, scratching the back of his head. His eyes scanning all over her body that showed enough skin. Pupils went big (oops).

They were ordering their food. "What should I order? Mac and cheese or spaghetti?" Lauren asked as she struggled to choose the one that she wanted to eat.

"I'll get the mac and cheese. You get the spaghetti. We can share." Daniel replied to her, smiling.

"Smart." She said, clapping her hands. "Good idea."

Daniel smiled. He started a conversation with the girl as they were waiting for their food to arrive.

Before Daniel eat his food, he offered the food to Lauren first. "Here" he said, feeding Lauren the mac and cheese.

Lauren wanted to take the spoon but he pulled it away. "Let me feed you." She smiled. She started to have a goosebump.

"Mmm. That's good."

"Take a bite." She fed Daniel the spaghetti she ordered earlier. "It's delicious"

Daniel swallowed the food. "Yummy" He said, with a small smile.

"You're cute." When Lauren said that, her eyes were wide. She can't believe she said Daniel's cute. Those 2 words escaped her mouth, making her gritted her teeth.

"You're cuter" Daniel scrunched Lauren's nose. He saw Lauren's cheeks transformed into red "You're blushing again"

"How can I not blush when Daniel Seavey said that I'm cute." Lauren smiled, shrugging her shoulder.

"And Lauren Henderson said that I'm cute too." He flirted, flashing his smile. "Anyway, I'll be back in California in about 2 days. You know our band has a house there." His smile slowly turned into a frown.

"I hope we can meet again" He scratched his temple. He took a sip of his drink before continued "I'll miss you"

"Hey, we can meet. I have an apartment there. I live there. I just came here to visit Tina." Lauren pulled Daniel's hand closer to her and rub them gently.

His eyes brightened up as soon as Lauren said that. "Really? When will you come back there?" He excitedly asked.

"I don't know yet. But I'll be really soon." Lauren smiled.

Daniel let out a sigh of relief, resting his back on the chair. "Thank god"

"Why does it matter?" Lauren asked, taking another bite of her food.

"Umm. I- I just you know. I kinda like you." He looked down the table, trying to hide his now red cheeks.

Lauren almost chocked. She quickly drank her soda. "What?" She furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yeah. I like you since the party" He said, looking Lauren directly in the eyes. Those eyes made him fell in love again. "You're beautiful"

Lauren giggled. "Stop it. I'm shy"

"You have a cute giggle too" He flirted again.

they flirted on the whole date, boosting up Lauren's shyness. Daniel made her comfortable around him which she liked.

They had a walk along the side of the road, talking with each other. Lauren felt an arm wrapping around her waist. She felt protected.

"We should have a date again anytime soon." Daniel led Lauren to a flower shop. He planned to buy the girl a flower.

"Again? We had a date earlier?" Lauren looked up at Daniel who nodded.

"These flowers are so pretty" Lauren's eyes scanning the whole shop filled with blooming flowers.

"The flower beside me is prettier" Daniel said. Lauren looked beside Daniel to see what flower he meant. Seconds after, she realized it's her he's talking about. She blushed for the thousandth times that day.

As Lauren complimenting and sniffing every flower, Daniel stopped her. "I'll get you flowers. What do you like?"

Lauren loves white roses. "I like roses but white" She walked away to get to the other side which had humongous flowers and leaves.

Daniel told the lady that he wants white roses in a rose gold box. He also told the lady to put 3 sunflowers in them.

Done paying, he headed to Lauren who was taking a picture of some flowers. "Here for you" Daniel handed Lauren the roses and sunflower.

She took it "Thank you so much. They're so pretty. And there's a sunflower too?" She took pictures of the flowers.

"Sunflowers remind me of you" Daniel looked down at Lauren and smile. "And you can remember me by looking at those flowers"

"You're so sweet" Lauren placed a kiss on Daniel's cheek. Daniel kisses her forehead.
