Goo had been the Nanny for the kids for a couple months now, allowing me to get back to work. Surprisingly, after the girls came into my life, my life has gotten a whole lot easier. Also other things have happened since I've written in here.
(If you guys don't remember he's writing his account of his life in the journal he got from when he was in the hospital.)
Apparently young monsters grow substantially faster than human children. Arach and Amber are only four months old but they are at about the stages of a 2 year old. Which makes them even more of a handful.

I sighed as I heard a loud bang in the kids' bedroom. I set my pencil in the crease of the journal and shut it. I walked down the hall and looked inside their bedroom. There wasn't anything amiss but I saw Arach sitting on the wall.
I groaned as I walked further down the hall to be ambushed by Arach. I looked over my shoulder and he had a massive smile on his face. I sighed and nodded my head. He clapped happily before sitting on my head.
"You know you're getting too big for this...." I said with a sigh as I walked into my bedroom.
He nodded and started drumming on my head with his fingers. *I need to get him a set of drums or bongos because this is getting annoying.* I thought to myself.
That's when I got a good idea.
I took Arach off of my head and asked him, "You wanna spend the day with Daddy?"
"Daddy twime!" He said clapping happily.
I couldn't help but laugh as I nodded. About ten minutes later, Arach was dressed in one of his hoodies and we were walking down the sidewalk.
"Twime with Daddy! Twime with Daddy!" Arach was saying in a sing-song kinda voice.
I couldn't help but laugh. He was riding on my shoulders as we walked along. We were heading to my dad's place after I finally remembered the gift he had gotten for me. I was twirling the key around my ding as we walked.
I walked up my dad's steps and knocked on his door. He answered the door a little surprised to see us.
"What brings you here?" He asked,
"Twime with Daddy!!!" Arach said excitedly as he smiled widely.
My dad smiled and gave Arach a couple pats on the head. Arach giggled as he beamed happily. My dad looked at my hand and saw the keys.
"I was wondering when you finally come get the old girl?" My dad said walking out of the house and motioned me to follow him.
We walked around to the back of the house to a shed. He opened the doors and my jaw dropped at the sight of what was inside.
Before me sat my dream car since I was a kid.

An old 1972 Lincoln Continental Mk III!!!
I stood there and looked at my dad in disbelief. He nodded and gestures to the car.
"It's yours!" He said laughing.
I walked over and dropped to my knees as I hugged the car. I went over to the passenger door and sat Arach in the back. I buckled him up before climbing in the front seat. I buckled up and inserted the key. I turned over the engine and laughed as I felt the car rumble. I gripped the steering wheel as my dad leaned on the door.
"Happy Birthday Erick!" He said before shutting the door. "Now go spend time with your son."
I nodded and pulled out of the shed. I pulled out onto the street and drove towards our destination for the day. The music store!

I parked in front of the store and helped Arach out of the backseat. I let him sit on my shoulders as I walked into the store. Arach looked around in awe and set him next to some bongos. He lifted one and hit it a couple times before putting it back with a shake of his head.
I smiled before picking up a nearby six-string acoustic guitar. I tuned it and started playing an old favorite. A song called Shape Of My Heart by Sting.
"Still got it..." I said with a smile
I looked next to me to see Arach asleep against my leg, a pair of bongos held in his mandibles. I smiled as I set down the guitar. I slowly laid Arach out on the floor to rest for a bit before going to browse the guitars they had. I picked a nice six-string acoustic made of maple before picking a case for both our instruments and waking Arach.
"Daddy sounds good..." he said sleepily.
I smiled as I headed to the counter and paid for our instruments. I loaded them into the trunk of the car and headed home.
Luckily everyone was still gone on a little girl's day-out. I hid the guitar and laid Arach down for a nap.
I went to leave but Arach said, "Daddy play?"
I sighed and nodded before getting my guitar. I played the same song I played at the store per his request. As I ended the song, I looked up from my guitar to see Arach and all of the girls asleep around me. I smiled before putting my guitar back in its case and going to take a nap in my room.
And thus ends quite a wholesome chapter that I think was worth staying up till midnight to make. Also, I think I might start each chapter of with Erick writing in his journal now.
