I really feel like I should publish new parts more frequently, but things happen and I have a lot of things going on in my life, so it's hard to find enough time.

"Man, that's a lot to take in!"
"Yeah, there's more gods? But, I guess it makes sense in our crazy world"
The Greeks/Romans and their new demigod friends were walking towards Boston Public Garden. They'd finished their meal and decided to take a walk before figuring out what to do next. The city buzzed with life, but the garden locked them in a quiet pocket of bright green leaves, soft grass and chirping birds. All the normal city sounds tuned out.
"Mhm, but how do they do it? Do they have like, a schedule or something?" Piper asked to none in particular. She tilted her head up and breathed in the garden smells.
Magnus walked with his thumbs in his front pockets. He looked up at the trees.
"I don't think so. I think they sort of co-exist. Like a 3D movie. It's all different layers and colors, but when you put on your glasses, it all comes together. And if one sun-god quits her or his job, there will still be other gods to carry the sun". The others nodded. Alex giggled. Magnus' necklace pendant buzzed and glowed, but no one seemed to notice.
"I guess it makes sense when you put it that way", Jason said. Alex continued to laugh. Magnus looked confused at her.
"Why are you laughing? What's funny?"
Alex wiped some tears away from her eyes.
"It's just, just, you actually said something intelligent!"
"What about that? I'm smart", Magnus replied with an annoyed expression on his face.
Alex punched him lightly in the arm. "Yeah, suuuuure"
The Greek/Romans felt a little awkward watching the argument, so Leo pointed towards the big pond.
"Anyone wanna go ride the swan boats?"
"I am!", Magnus exclaimed and squinted at her, arms crossed.
"Yeah"
"Definitely"
"Mhmmmm", Alex responded and looked at him with a spark of fondness in her eyes, but obviously Magnus was too oblivious to notice.
"To the swan boats!", Percy said, pointed towards the little house where the swan boats were and led his friends to the epic quest of buying tickets and waiting for an empty boat.
"Mom used to tell me that I'm smart enough to get into Harvard!"
"Sooo, what's 17 times 127? No calculator"
"Now you're just being mean, Alex", Magnus said and punched her back, half annoyed and half playfully.

Magnus and Alex punched each other's arms a little more, before Magnus looked up.
"Where did the others go?", he asked and let his arm fall to his side.
Alex looked up too and saw something behind Magnus.
"To the swan boats... what is happening over there?", she said and stood on her tiptoes to get a better look over Magnus's shoulder.
Annabeth and her friends were sitting in one of the swan boats and laughter ringed  through the garden. Percy were spraying water from the pond up in the air like fountains, and then the water would rain down on them again. Everyone except Percy looked like they'd run out in the rain in just summer clothes. On top of that the short guy named Leo were blasting fire from his palms and making the swan boat the fastest human powered boat to ever exist. Also, Magnus got a prickling feeling in his gut. Last time he met someone who could shoot fire out of his hands, he died. And that was not a great experience. Way too painful.
Magnus shrugged and looked at them.
"Should we tell them that that's our funeral site?" he asked and tried to push away some sad memories.
"Nah, we don't wanna be party poopers" she answered, though Magnus detected something in her voice. Something that didn't really think it was that okay.

"Buuuut, do you think they are the ones Odin talked about? The ones from his weird vision?" Alex wondered out loud.
She sat down in the grass and Magnus sat down beside her.
"They must be. They are powerful demigods" he replied and brushed his blonde hair out of his face.
Sunlight poured through the trees and made his hair shine like gold. Alex really wanted to touch his hair and lean onto his shoulder and disappear into a world with only them, but reality check: They had a mission to complete and the Norns never let demigods have calm and easy lives with their boy/girlfriends.
She sighed and rose back up .
"We must take them with us to Valhalla", she stated and put her sunglasses on.
Magnus smiled, "You tried to sound like a movie character, right?"
"That was the intention, Magpie". Alex looked at him through her side eye.
The sound of a person suddenly stepping on the pathway behind them made them both spin around, Magnus with his hand on pendant-Jack and she with her hand on her garrote.

"I hope for your sake that "Take them to Valhalla" doesn't mean "kill them". That would turn out bad for you", Nico said with his sword pointed at the two Norse demigods. The blonde guy, the Kurt Cobain imitator, took his hand away from his stone pendant, as if taking his hand away from his sword when realizing the enemy wasn't an enemy. Weird, but it could be a magic weapon, like Percy's Riptide. And blondie might just be acting friendly. Nico wouldn't trust anyone that easily.
"Nono, we're taking the mortal entry. Why would we kill you? We're not barbarians", Magnus said and got to his feet.
Nico did not lower his Stygian iron sword.
"I'm pretty sure that's exactly what Vikings were, or are" he said while narrowing his  eyes. Alex placed her fingertip at the point of Nico's sword and lowered it slowly down.
"We, Magnus and I, are highly civilized people raised in the twenty first century. Our friend Halfborn is barbarian, and even he wouldn't kill you. Maybe he would try to bake some cookies for you, but not kill you. Unless you insult his hometown, of course".
"He is a very non-barbaric barbarian", Magnus added.
Nico still did not know if he should trust these people, but they were friends of Annabeth and Percy. And maybe he should try.
Alex looked at him through her sunglasses and smiled,
"Nice sword you've got there, by the way".
Nico glared at her.

Okay, so this part is kinda short, but I just wanted to get it posted. And it would become really long if I were to write everything that I first wanted to do.
