We all know the story of Harry Potter, any wizard would, the scarred boy deemed the chosen boy. But Elena Silverthorn has another, an untold story ready to be revealed to the world.

1 HUFFLEPUFF

1989 September

Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry, was opening it's large doors to a clutch of first years. They eagerly rode the boats, a bit anxious about the depth and gloomy waters and dreaded the monsters lurking just beneath them. The lights of Hogwarts illuminated the waters, welcoming its new, fresh, juvenile students.

Elena was cramped between two, very chatty and eager, boys, unapologetically speaking in unison or finishing each other's sentences. She could not tell them apart, at that moment. "You know, our brother Percy, was sorted into Gryffindor." They spoke about other names as well, too many to remember and too quick to understand. On the other hand, Elena had only one person she knew which house he has belonged to; Gryffindor.

"What house do you think you will end up in?" Fred, she assumed, asked, raising both his red eyebrows. "Perhaps Ravenclaw." Both Fred and George shared a glance, as if they could communicate by only the eyes, and simultaneously turned their eyes to Elena. "Whatever happens, you'll still be our friend, if you don't become one of those slimy gits from Slytherin." There was no doubt that he was sincere, his eyes made sure of that.

Elena adored the straightforward, humorous aura the twins undeniably shared, it was refreshing. They knew each other better than anyone, similar in many ways still distinctive in others. "O-okay." She grinned watching both the twins smile back, satisfied of their new friend.

George swung his arm around her, seeing the way she shuddered in the cold and it made more space in the tiny boat, and goofily grinned. "You'll probably end up in Hufflepuff." She could not decipher if it was a compliment or not but she determined it was positive, even though the mischievous glint hiding in his eyes.

"That would be an honour." Radiation of pride was nothing expected by the twins, even though it made them intrigued. Her face brightened, the smile grew as she watched the confusion bloom. They had their heads buried in the dimension where bravery and chivalry was deemed great. Elena had another understanding of her surroundings, nothing was more important than kindness, loyalty and hardworking qualities.

She was, indeed, sorted into Hufflepuff, not a fragment of disappointment on her face. The pure glee mirrored the internal Elena, not just an effort to satisfy others. "I love it already!" A voice muffled behind the door exclaimed. She entered her dormitory, the first to meet the eye was a bouncing, black haired girl. "I'm Mage Dedalus." A short, bubbling Mage Dedalus shook Elena's hand, a bit to thrilled, and jumped onto the closest bed.

Mage Dedalus was nothing like Elena had ever met before, the wild hair with frizzy banks and a fervour of felicity. "I'm Elena Silverthorn." Elena laughed at how high Mage could jump, while mattress squeaked in protest. "Lovely." She landed perfectly on the stone floor, her black tornado of hair brushing of her shoulders.

The room had the cozy copper lamps casting the perfectly honey, yellow, warm light. "My favourite colour is now yellow." Mage had her things scattered across the bed she claimed before, with a kitten sleeping soundlessly on the pillow and she wrapped her scarf around her neck, strutting back and forth.
"Wonderful." Elena giggled, finding her stuff at a chosen bed with everything unharmed and tidy.

"So I guess we are roommates." Mage jumped up beside Elena, smiling and handed over a sweet. "Count me in."  Another, much taller girl stepped inside from the round door, her eyes quickly meeting both Mage's and Elena's. "I'm Valerie Dots."  They all shook hands, than noticing the other nearly invisible girl behind Valerie. "And I- I mean I'm Lucy Evergreen."      Fidgeting with her hands, her eyes adverting to anything but the three girls.

First impressions were inevitable, Elena figured there was no bad blood - yet. Others were more hostile than others, but it was only the first night of many. The world has blown up in her face, experience was the key to learn and to prepare if it ever would happen again. She had this ominous feeling when the lights dimmed but dreams interrupted.
