"Explain the meaning of this," Brambleclaw mewed coldly.
Hawkfrost's eyes were piercing and defiant but there was fear.
"I caught this monster of a cat creeping through Windclan territory and towards Thunderclan," Mothwing snarled.
"Well," Bramblestar mewed, "Mothwing, you can go home. Hawkfrost, you're coming with us."
With a swish of a tail, Bramblestar lead his patrol and Hawkfrost into Thunderclan.
"What are you doing here," Bramblestar mewed icily.
"I didn't die and Tigerstar disowned me for only killing one cat during the Great Battle. He's dead now but I don't want to go back," Hawkfrost responded, "besides, I haven't ever killed anyone in my time alive."
"Well if you didn't kill Firestar back then, he would still be alive," Bramblestar snarled.
Hawkfrost rolled his eyes. "A fox trap killed him. Not me. I was just giving you life advice until you decided that killing me right then and there was convenient."
"You are staying here as a prisoner. Stay here while I alert my clan that we have a hostile cat inside the camp. Don't move or else I'll have the elders tell you stories to death," Bramblestar threatened.
"Sure BrambleCLAW," Hawkfrost snorted.
Bramblestar just rolled his eyes.
"Every cat old enough to catch its own prey gather under High Rock. As you may know, we have a... prisoner in the camp. Umm..."
Hawkfrost peered from inside Bramblestar's den. Ivypool wasn't present.
"... Yeah. Just like, don't kill him. We can use him for answers. Thornclaw, will you come here and escort him to Sol's old prison?"
Hawkfrost stepped out onto Bramblestar and stretched his back and yawned for a grand entrance.
Everyone was shocked.
"Why are there two Bramblestars?" a kit asked.
"Uh. I am SO offended! I am not Bramblestar. I am the GREAT and POWERFUL-"
Bramblestar cuffed him in the ear. "So... Don't kill him?"
The whole clan looked at him like they wanted to murder him.
"Why are they so hostile towards me? I only killed a murderer?" Hawkfrost whispered innocently.
Bramblestar gave him a look that said shut up.
After he got to his cozy new den, he just laid down and did nothing until a sharp slash of pain rippled through his ear.
"You absolute mouse-brain! What did I tell you? I could have killed you before you dunce!"
It was Ivypool and she was angry.
"It's been a half-moon. I came to visit," Hawkfrost sighed.
"Whatever." Ivypool marched of to get a piece of prey from the fresh-kill pile.
"Hey. What was between you and Hawkfrost?" Dovewing asked her sister.
"Well, use your powers and find out!" Ivypool answered hostilely.
