"Hey, Ivypool. I thought you would take the opportunity to watch Hawkfrost die. What happened?" Dovewing asked.
Ivypool had a sad expression on her face and shrieked. "Do you know how many cats I had to kill to get the respect of the Dark Forest? I had to kill a cat twice to prove my loyalty. Was a cat's life really less important than spying on the Dark Forest? Do you think I want to kill another cat or watch one get killed?"
Dovewing stumbled back. She didn't know that a cat had lost his life. Twice. Just for Ivypool to gain respect so she could spy.
Dovewing walked up towards Jayfeather. "There's something off with Ivypool," she told Jayfeather seriously.
"Watch where her loyalties lie."
