So Yang was totally sure that one of these guys, the one with the greasy, sandy brown beard, was looking way too hard at Blake.
She didn't seem to notice, though.
"So ladies, did you enjoy the drinks?" The ginger man in front of the small group spoke, noticeably eyeing Velvet down.
There were only four of them but their presence still felt like too much. Yang could do polite but they were making it hard, considering how they were shamelessly checking them out. If one of their gazes slipped to her tits again she was gonna flip.
"Thank you." Pyrrha voiced, very dismissively but still polite.
They didn't take the hint.
"You are very welcome. What are you all doing here alone?"
Weiss scoffed. "We're here together, aren't we? We aren't even alone."
One of the men with funky lime-green hair leaned over the table and softly grabbed a hold of Yang's hand. "You're too beautiful to be single."
Well, she was single but he didn't have to know that.
"Who says I'm single?"
He chuckled, allowing a wannabe-charming smile to spread across his features. "I don't see anyone here—"
Nora held up a finger.
"Actually, buddy. Her girlfriend is right there so you can..you know...leave." She grinned as she pointed at Blake."Wait. Nora what—"
Multiple eyes immediately locked onto Yang as her friends desperately pleaded for her to just go with it in hope that they'll all just leave. Yang closed her mouth.
"You know, this has really been bugging me.." Sandy brown beard said to Yang. "You look so freakin' familiar..."
Green funky hair guy nudged his friend as a flash of recognition sparkled in his eyes. "Hey! You're Yang-something, the fighter right? Dude, I remember you!"
Sandy beard turned towards him, eyes flickering between him and Yang. "Oh, you're right!" I've seen all your fights!"
Yang awkwardly smiled to keep up appearances of politeness as the men practically vibrated in excitement.
"You're awesome!"
"—and hot."
"And hot."
Nora sighed, rubbing a hand along her face. "Okay, fanboys. Thanks for the drinks but skedaddle."
They looked like they had more to say but reluctantly left anyway. Nora grabbed a drink, slowly sipping it while amber and lilac eyes burned holes in her through the glass.
"What?" The redhead shrugged as she shot them a sideways glance.
"Stop saying shit like that in public."
The last thing Yang needed was for a bunch of local fans to start spreading rumors about Yang Xiao Long having a 'girlfriend'. Rumors were bad news, everyone always picked apart people's lives and twisted words around.
