Davids POV You could say that i have always had something for Camren. When i first met her i thought she was beautiful but i was almost 13 when we met so you could say that it was a little child crush that i had on her. But when we had to kiss in the first season it was both of our first kisses and i was so nervous. We didn't have to kiss than for another season but when season 3 came around we had to do it again and then we had to film scenes when Bruce and Selina are starting to act on what they had but obviously bruce being bruce he messed it up as usual. And then in season 4, we had an almost kiss and then an actual kiss. And now in season 5, we have 2 kisses to do. I guess in a way we have to give the fans what they want in a way but that doesn't mean it makes me any less nervous. Yes, i am happy i get to kiss my crush but sometimes it gets hard for me because i know she doesn't like me back and never will. And i now know that with the show ending that I'm only going to get to kiss her one more time and then i might never hear from her again. Yes, i know that we can always talk on Instagram and call each other but I'm graduating and then I'm going off to Standford next year and then that would get in the way of things but all i want is for her to be mine.
Today was the final day on the set of Gotham. Today was also that last time that I'm ever going to kiss Camren. It hurt me but i know that it is for the best. But that doesn't mean it is going to hurt any less. Me and Sean I were sitting waiting for us to start filming. I was going to miss everyone. Especially Sean because he was like another father to me. "So you got one more kiss scene to do. How does it feel" he asks. I raise my eyebrow at him. "Fine. It's just a kiss scene. I'm paid to do this" i say as i take a drink of my water. "Come on David i know it is more than that to you. I know by the way that you look at her that there is something more there then meets the eye. You look at her the way i look at Jackie" he says. David just puts his head down. "I do look at her like that but today is the last day and then after today we might never see each other again. She will never know how i feel about her" David says as he sits down on one of the chairs. Sean sighs before sitting down next to him. "That's if you choose for it to go down that path. You can choose to tell her. You can choose if you see her again after today. It's all up to you" Sean says. David smirks. "Have you told Fred this?" he asks. Sean shrugs with a smirk on his face. "Maybe once," he says. David chuckles.
Me and Camren were now sitting in place along with everyone else in our places ready to film. We were just about to film the kiss scene. I was scared because this time it was me who had to kiss her. This was potentially the last time and i knew i had to make it count. "Ok everyone and action" Bruno calls. Everyone starts to clap and then the camera falls on me and Camren. I look over and Camren. "What," she says as Selina. I grab her waist and pull her into me and smash my lips to hers. She acts shocked before putting her hand to my face and kissing me back. I hear Bruno call cut but me and Camren keep kissing. It only when Sean and Chris shout it that me and Camren stop. She looks at me in shock and then she turns and sees everyone else in shock. She pushes past me and runs offset. Sean turns to me. "Go after her," he says. I nod before running after her.
I run out and see Camren sitting on one of the benches. I sigh before walking over and sitting next to her. She keeps her head down and i just sit and look in front of me. "What was that," she asks quietly. I sigh before telling her. "It was my way of telling you that i love you and i always have". She just sits there and lets it sink in. "Since the first day we met," she asks. She sees him from the side of her eye nod. She just breathes out. "Listen i understand if you dont love me back but i just wanted the last time that we probably see each other to be memorable and for me to know that i tried. I dont want to look back on this day knowing that i didn't" he says before standing up and starting to walk away. "David wait" Camren shouts as he turns and looks at her. She runs to him and wraps her arms around his neck and kissing I'm again. He wraps his arms around her and kisses her back. They kiss for a few minutes before pulling away. she rests her forehead on his and smiles. "I love you to" she says. He smiles. "Really" he asks. "Really" she says with a small smile on her face. "You know makeup is going to be mad at me" she says. He laughs. "I dont think they'll mind if it delays this being over to quickly" he says. She giggles. "Yeah, i dont want the show to be over. I want to be able to come back and do it all over again" she says. He smirks. "Anything you would change," he asks. "Umm let me see... i think i would have told you quicker," she says. He laughs. "I wish i would have told you sooner," he says. They stay there a few more minutes in their embrace before David speaks again. "I think we should go back because they are probably a bit angry after what we just pulled off," he says. She nods. "Yeah i just dont want this to end though," she says. He shakes his head. "No, it's not going to be over. We can make this work. I still have a few months left of school and then over the summer me and you can go away for all of it somewhere and enjoy the time we have together before i have to go off to Standford" he says. She smiles. "Perfect," she says.
The new couple walks back onto set and they see Bruno a bit angry. "You two your glad its the last day," he says seriously but then smirks at them. They smirk back and him before going and taking their places. Sean turns to David and gives him a thumbs up. David smiles before he takes Camren's' hand. She turns and smiles at him. They were both happy that this began. This was something special that never ended.
