We stop at the station in Sector 1, there should be someone waiting for us, I find the one holding a sign up with the name "Baolin" in his hand.

"Are you Kailone?" The man with the sign asks me. Laurisa squeezes my hand and walks off to find her driver.

"It's Kalen" I answer simply, It wasn't the first time I'd been called "Kailone" my name wasn't common, so it was usual to have people get it wrong. The driver nods.

"This way sir" I follow him to a sleek, black hovercar, the door opens for me and I get in. He takes the driver's seat and starts the engine, it roars to life in a loud purr, this was much like the hovercars they use in races.

"Nice ride." The driver nods and I feel us begin to move. I look out my window, silvery buildings rise high into the sky, the light seems to dance off their surfaces. At first they look blue, then pink or orange, followed by teal, I know there must've been more colours than that, but they flew by too quickly for me to see them. I feel myself smile, this was my new home.

"Those are the Ministry Buildings" The driver laughs, I know it was me that he was amused by, I smile back. I look at his nameplate.

"Tyre... that's a cool name" I smile and I see him glare at me suddenly.

"Tie. ral. It's said Tie-rall, not just Tear, Tyral, is it really so hard?!" He exclaims suddenly, but he returns his eyes to the road. I shake my head in appology, I hadn't meant to upset him. I look at him again, he's not much older than I am I realize suddenly. His dirty-blond hair is tossed to one side, covering one of his blue eyes.

"I'm sorry Tyral, I didn't know, and believe me man, I know what It's like having your name said wrong. I should've noticed it, I'm just so stressed out." I shake my head

"Don't worry about it man, I know how you feel, went through the same thing just last year. My advice; focus. You'll figure it out." I half-smile.

"But... there's this girl, I mean, she's... amazing, and she's one of my matches-"

"Then what's the problem?"

"I don't know, like, she's... an angel," he smiles.

"I know what that's like, I have one of my own, every moment you're with her you can't keep your head, right?" I nod, but that's not what I mean, I want to yell" no, literally, she has wings, she's a legitimate angel!" but, I keep my mouth shut.

I watch as the small houses of the poor and the new members of Sector 1 pass.

"Shouldn't we stop?" I ask, why aren't we stopping here? This should be where I'll be living, but Tyral just shakes his head. We continue through the Sector, out of the poor part of it, and into the middle-class. I shake my head, this can't be right, most people didn't get to live in this part of the city until they were well into their twenties, or a part of the mistry. "Is this right?" he nods, continuing to drive, until we get to where the middle and beginning of the high class buildings stand. We stop.

"You gonna get out?" he asks, almost annoyed.

"This can't be right," I reply, sharp as a tack.

"Well, you tell me. What's your profession?"

"Guardian..." I answer.

"Then we're in the right place." He nudges my arm almost as if to say "Go on" I get out of the hovercar, shutting the door behind me. I watch as the hovercar speeds away.

A blond woman in a blue suit approches me, a clipboard in hand.

"I'm Laurie Mariette, I work with the Ministry and will be your realtor today" she says simply, putting one hand out.

"I'm Kalen Berico" I shake her hand.

"Oh, you're guardian boy, hm?" I nod. I see her glare at me for a moment before waving me into one of the houses. I follow in silence.

I know it's only been about two hours, but it's felt like seven by the time we make it to the last house I'll be looking at. It's smaller than most of the others but then again, I dont need, or want a large home, I'd only get lost. Well... I'm pretty sure I'd get lost at least. About five meters from the door there's a white dual-staircase-thingy, you know, like the ones where there seem like theres two, and the bottom is pretty far apart (like 5 meters) but then they curve towards each other, and connect at the top. The main floor is basically a huge kitchen and dining room, a living room, and a bathroom. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The basement, is well, a basement. Part of me thinks it's just the staircase that makes me want this house, the wide railings would be so fun to slide down.

"What do you think of this one?" The impatience in the Laurie's voice is obvious. I smile.

"I'll take it,"
