MARLOE LOISE STEVEN

The whole table was silent for a moment as if everyone was processing what just happened.

I start to pay attention to my food by picking the slice of pizza first. Then Clace grabbed the apple in front of me and the butter knife beside it and started peeling. He didn't utter a word probably still embarrassed about the fact that Audrey just told everyone about their break up. He seems nonchalant either, he is really good with a poker face, it took me eighteen years to figure him out and I basically know how this guy thinks. But somehow I don't know if that's completely true. I can't read him sometimes.

I don't know why but I'm guessing everyone already knew. Nobody commented about it though.

Is it me? Or everyone saw it coming? They seem to act as if it was all okay. It's obvious that Regina is still affected. I can see it in her eyes, the longing when her eyes travel down to Clace. But the guy looks like everything is fine.

He really is dense.

Vicky and Dylan keep eating, the air is tense around them as well. I know it is because of what Audrey said. Yes, Vicky has a reputation but it's not all true. Yes, she has had a fair share of men but not all of them bedded her. I cringe at my own words. It was awkward.

"Hey guys there's a new KTV bar downtown, wanna check it after school?" Regina asks killing the silence. She sounds hopeful and her gaze is at Clace as her normal color comes back.

He finished peeling the apple and started slicing it before putting it back on my plate and he looked up to Regina. He looks like he is considering the idea.

"That'd be cool. You in Loise?" He asks turning to me. I shrug as if saying whatever.

"I'm in!" Gabriel and Ian say in unison.

"We're in too!" Dylan answered for both Vicky and him. Vicky smiles but it never reached her eye. Aww, poor Vick she is still affected.

"Great! Now, that's a plan!" Regina exclaims clapping her hands excitedly. "We'll meet at the parking lot after school," she states.

"No alcohol though." I finally say. To my surprise, the table erupted with laughter and giggles from the girls. I instantly turn crimson regretting I even said something. Now they will remind me about that night again!

"Yeah because the last time you got drunk you strip on top of the table! Oh, I would kill for part two!" Vicky said now laughing.

I groan covering my face. "Don't remind me please! I'm begging you!" Everyone laughs once again making me even more conscious.

"Oh yeah, that was quite a show. It was the talk of the school for a year!" Ian comments still laughing.

Urgh! I'm glad I entertain them. Not!

"If I remember correctly someone was hella mad that night!" Regina fuelled referring to Clace. Then like a brick it hit me. The dream! Oh god! Kill me now.

"Oh stop it guys she's so red. Stop reminding her." Clace says almost too serious.

"Easy for you to say you got lucky that night!" Regina retorts pointing at Clace playfully. I am instantly pale.
