Chapter 12:Whats going on between those two?!

(Y/n)'s pov:
Today was a new day! Today was time to train! And lucky today wasn't school either. I thought on how I was able to train and the first thought that came into my head... should I train on my muscles and strength - well I don't think I have muscles but I want to have all the strength for the sports festival!

I knew that I had both my parents quirk and mines, I don't know why I have three... I guess I'm rare... anyways! I could practice more on my flying, on how high or low!

I walk outside, but before I could I tell my mom that I was going to go out and practice for the festivals, and then I-

"(Y/n), please do be careful my dear..." mom says while resting her hands on my shoulder, she gets emotional a bit, "I-I'm just so proud of you... !" she cries out and then yanks me in to hug me tightly.

I hug her back and try not to cry as well but then I pulled back, "Thank you, mother, I am so happy that you gave me the opportunity to get into this amazing school!" I said while giving her a smile, she smiled back and kissed my head.

"Alright my dear, you could go now, come back soon for dinner though!" she said, and I nodded in response.

I walked outside and jumped up to fly, I felt the air pressure more and more as I went higher and higher. And then my eyes caught my neighborhood. I smiled, I love to fly, but now I have to get down...! That being said, I pushed myself down, I felt the nice breeze of the air flow through me.

Now that I am on the ground... I have to start practicing my other quirk! Which is... my earth powers~! Okay so for this I think I should just control the wind a bit...

{Timeskip}

Time passed, in a blink of an eye.

And it was already the day of the sports festival! My heart kept on racing a-and racing! And I was only waiting in the waiting room.

I wasn't very talkative, because I was only thinking on how the sports festivals was going to go, a-and if I trained enough.

"Hey (L/n)-chan! Are you nervous about later?" I turn my head to see Uraraka right next to me. She was smiling while putting one hand behind her neck.

"U--" I was cut off by Iida entering the room, "Everyone is ready? We will be entering soon!" Iida announced.

We all didn't react at first, but I looked over to where Midoriya was, and then I saw Todoroki coming his way. I heard him calling his name.

"So! (L/n)... are you?" I suddenly turned to Uraraka and I could tell she was waiting for me to talk, I only nodded and smiled, but then I turned back to where the boys were.

Uraraka seemed to notice so then she also looked at the boys, "What do ya think they're talking about? Huh?" I heard Uraraka whisper to me. 

"I don't know" I said back, but then Midoriya turned to Todoroki, "Todorok? What is it?" Midoriya asked him. I heard the room grow silent because they were all just looking at what Todoroki and Midoriya was doing.

"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you" I heard Todoroki say. He said it with no emotion! Just a plain look and a plain answer.

"Huh?" I heard Midoriya. Then he put his head down a bit, "Y-Yeah..."  he said slowly. "But... All Might has his eyes on you, doesn't he? I'm not trying to pry about that. But I'm going to beat you." Todoroki said in such a deep voice. He stared Midoriya down with such a glare, and I could tell Midoriya was very uncomfortable.

I quickly got up and ran over to Midoriya.

I laid my hand over his shoulders and went neared his ear, "Midoriya... you can do this," I whispered, I felt him nod and I felt his body warm up fast.

Todoroki's pov:
Once I saw (L/n) going up to Midoriya, my anger grew more but when she placed a hand on him, I knew that I would beat Midoriya in the fight, and show him my all. I want to do this, not only to prove my father wrong, but also for her... I heard someone talk, but I did not pay any attention, I only had my attention on Midoriya and (L/n).

Then I felt a hand lay on my shoulder, and Midoriya walking away with (L/n), I heard Kirishima's voice, "Hey, hey, hey! Why are you picking a fight out of a sudden? Not now, we're about to start!" he informed me.

If only he knew.

I was very annoyed by then, so my anger got to him and I pushed his hands out of me by pushing my right elbow.

"We're not here to play at being friends" I finally speak, and then I turn around and start walking out, "So what does it matter?" I say before leaving.

What fools my class could be. I was going to go stand in the corner until I heard Midoriya speak, "Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me" I turn my head to look at him.

"But of course, you're better than me. I think you're more capable than most than most people... looking at it objectively..." he stop because only Kirishima cut him off, "Midoriya, you probably shouldn't talk so negatively..." and then Midoriya cut him off, "But, everyone-- but the other students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they got! I can't afford to fall behind" he says, this time I turn my whole self to look at him more.

His head was down but then he slowly raised it, "I'll be going for it, with everything I have, too."

Hmph, this kid, he is trying his hardest, I suppose that's one thing (L/n) likes about being his friend.

"Yeah" I say finally.
