Kakashi x OC

Chapter 1

                                                                                        Yua's POV

      I was assigned my team. A young girl named Chiyo Amane, another young girl named Hatsumi Yukeno, and a young boy named Hiroshi Tetsu.

     "Alright guys my name is Yua Akari. I want you all to meet me back here tomorrow morning at seven sharp. I have an exercise for you to complete then. For today, do as you please." I told them. They nodded and made their ways wherever they wanted to go. 

     "Look at the youths we were given to mentor!" Gai called out, walking over to me. 

     "It's a surprise you even have any students after them meeting you." I mumbled. 

    "What was that Akari?" He asked me.

     "Nothing, just agreeing with you. Also I thought I told you to call me Yua since we've known each other since Academy." I said and rolled my eyes. 

   "Oh yes! My apologies." He called out and bowed. When he stood he spotted someone behind me and smirked. 

     "My rival!" He called out and I spun around, knowing who that meant it was. 

      "Hn? Oh." He said, looking up at Gai. His eyes slid over to me and he smiled behind his mask and waved. I waved back. Then watched in sympathy as Gai drug him into a stupid competition as he usually did. I walked off and towards Ichiraku Ramen where I sat and ordered a bowl . 

     "Don't worry about the payment, that gentleman over there paid for your food and his." I turned to where he was pointing and seen Kakashi sitting there and waving. 

     "I suppose I owe you my company since you bought me food." I said and moved closer to him, bringing my bowl with. 

     "Oh it was no big deal. I figured you might need it after dealing with Gai." He joked and we laughed. 

     "Well thank you but I think I should have been the one paying in that case. At least he doesn't force me into a competition every time he sees me." I said and we laughed again.

     "I'm sorry, I don't think we've been properly introduced.  I'm Kakashi Hatake." He said and smiled through his mask again. 

      "I'm Yua Akari." I said. 

     "Well we better eat before our food gets cold Akari." He said and I nodded. I was wondering what his face looked like beneath that mask and I knew he would need to take it off to eat but also that he wasn't keen on people seeing his face so I pretended to turn my attention to my bowl and brought a bite to my lips. He brought his mask down and quickly devoured his food but it was enough time for me to get a good look at his face and if I said he was handsome that would be an understatement but I had to pretend I saw nothing so he didn't know I had snuck a peek. I ate my bite and then quickly finished up. 

     "You eat fast." I said, turning to face him, noticing the cook and his daughter looks awe struck. 

    "And you're good at sneaking looks at people...but not good enough." He said and chuckled. I felt my cheeks heat up but said nothing. 

      "You know most people would deny they did anything right?" He asked.

     "Yeah but if you caught me what's the point in denying it. It isn't like it'll change the truth." I said and shrugged. 

     "I like you, we should get together sometime and try to be friends." He said and then took off before I could say anything. 

     "Well he's smooth." I said and tched as I walked back to my small home. It was a two bedroom house with a bathroom that had a tub and a living room and kitchen. A small laundry room too. It was nice, more meant for a couple and a kid but it was mine and I was comfortable in it. Once inside I took my hair down and ran a bath for myself and stripped down. Just as I was about to step into the tub a knock on my door stopped me. I groaned and wrapped a towel around myself and walked to my door and slung it open. There stood Kakashi and I felt my cheeks heat but I kept a straight face and watched him as his eyes looked me up and down. His cheeks dusted pink, hardly noticeable since he was wearing a mask but my eyes were sharp and I caught the smallest details. 

      "Can I help you?" I asked, sounding polite and trying not to seem flustered.

     "Ah...OH! Yeah, you dropped your left your wallet at Ichiraku and I looked at the address on your ID and figured I'd bring it back to you." He said, finally meeting my eyes.  I smiled gratefully. 

     "Thanks, I really appreciate it." I said and took it from him. 

     "Well, I'd invite you in for your troubles but I was about to bathe." I said and he nodded, turning away and waving goodbye. 

     "Perhaps next time I see you." I called out and shut the door. 

      I walked back to my bath and got in, being fast since it had gotten a little cold. After getting ready for bed I lay down and went to sleep fairly quickly.
