                                                                                        Kakashi's POV

The next morning I woke to the smell of breakfast cooking and I groaned as I stretched. I tossed the covers off and walked out, to the kitchen where the smell was coming from and seen Yua standing there cooking. She wore her pajamas from last night and turned to look at me and smiled.

"Ah, I see I didn't have to wake you. Sorry to lay this on you so suddenly but Lord Third is sending me on a mission today. I'm going to be getting dressed when I'm done cooking and leave then." She said and I nodded.

"What mission?" I asked her sleepily.

"A quick assassination is all. It should only take me two days tops." She said and I nodded.

"Is there anyone else going on the mission with you?" I asked her.

"No, just me. If I'm not back in three days then they'll send someone to look for me." She said matter of a fact.

"There should be at least one other person going on the mission with you." I said as she sat a plate in front of me.

"I'll be fine Kakashi." She said and chuckled, leaving to her room to get changed. She walked out and nodded to me.

"Alright, try not to throw a party while I'm gone." She joked and I let out a small chuckle, though still worried about her leaving for a mission.

She left at that and I looked around. I suppose I could go talk to the Hokage about her mission and find out some details on it. I nodded, cleaning the dishes and then got dressed and brushed my teeth and pulled my mask on and made my way to the Hokage. Once there I walked in and knocked on his office door.

"Come in." He called and I walked in.

"Ah, Kakashi, what brings you here?" He asked.

"Well I recently as of yesterday moved in as Akari's roommate and she was sent on a mission today. I was wondering if I could get some details on it. All she said was that it was a simple assassination." I said and he nodded.

"As she said, a simple assassination. I assume since you two live together now that she told you her secret?" He asked and I nodded.

"We found the man responsible for killing her pack of wolves. I knew she would want to at least know and if she wanted the mission then she was more than welcome to take it." He said.

"She said she was going alone. Not that I am questioning your judgement but couldn't she let her emotions get the better of her and make a mistake?" I asked him.

"While that is true she is a great Ninja of the Leaf and I have faith she won't fail due to her emotions. She insisted she do this alone and so I let her and said if she wasn't back within three days someone would be sent to find her." He said and I nodded, bowing and then walking out.

Two days passed agonizingly slow and as night fell on the second day I became worried. She still hadn't returned. Tomorrow I would go and request that I be the one sent to find her. I went to sleep that night and woke the next morning rather early. I quickly went about my daily routine and then made my way to the Hokage once again.

"Lord Third, I want to ask that you let me be the one to go look for Akari." I said, walking in. One of the gate guards stood there.

"No need, she returned late last night heavily injured. I'll be sending someone to the hospital as soon as she wakes up in order to gather information." He said and I nodded, bowed and ran out to the hospital.
