Yua's POV
The next morning I woke feeling fine. All my injuries were mostly healed. I stood and unwrapped the bandages from my body and sighed in content. Bandages were constricting. I looked down and seen that what was left were bruises where the more serious injuries were. I walked out and the smell of breakfast finally hit me. It smelled good. I walked into the kitchen and Kakashi turned to face me and his face turned into one of surprise.
"What about your injuries?" He asked me.
"I told you I would be fine by today didn't I?" I asked him and he nodded.
"I just didn't think you were being serious, how are you healed so fast?" He asked and I rubbed my arm in nervousness.
"That's something only the Hokage knows." I said and he nodded.
"So we'll have to get permission from him if I want to know?" He asked and I shook my head.
"No, it isn't really top secret but I just haven't told anyone else since finding out myself and he hasn't told anyone either." I said and sat down as he sat a plate in front of me.
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want too." He offered though I could tell he really wanted to know.
"I think if you're going to live here with me you deserve to know. I just don't want you to hate me after I tell you." I said and he placed his hand over mine and I looked up into his eyes in surprise. He smiled softly and I felt myself blush.
"I won't hate you no matter what." He said and I nodded.
"Well you know what Naruto is right?" I asked him and he nodded.
"I'm kind of similar to what he is except I didn't have the spirit of the wolf that's in me forcefully sealed in me. I welcomed it in and once I did it became a part of me. That's where my wolf like qualities come from. My ability to smell specific things and my sharp eyesight along with my speed. My ability to sneak up on my prey was enhanced once I accepted the wolf into me as well. Assassinations are easy for me, by the time my target notices me it's too late for them." I explained.
"So essentially you're part wolf?" He asked and I nodded.
"Something like that, yes." I said and he nodded. He removed his hand from me and then started eating, not saying anything else. I wondered what he was thinking.
"That's it?" I asked him after a moment. He looked up at me in question.
"I had all my questions answered. I don't have anything else to say. You're still the same Yua I've always known, things just make a little more sense now." He said and I smiled.
"Thanks, I was expecting a worse reaction." I said.
"Why? There isn't anything to react badly too." He asked and I smiled.
"Thanks, I appreciate that." I said and smiled. After breakfast I washed the dishes and he left to go train his squad. There were a couple more days till I would see my Squad next so I figured I should go and spy on them to see what they were up too.
After I walked out I got lucky and spotted the three of them walking towards the woods. I decided to follow them/
'Such good kids, going and training like they were told too.' I thought, happy to be gifted such a good squad this time. I followed them in and then as they continued walking I heard the sounds of another team practicing and I looked on in confusion as my Squad peeked at the other through bushes.
I looked at the other squad and moved in behind my squad to hear what they were saying.
"Look at Naruto, he's failing so hard." Hatsumi said and the three of them snickered.
"I know, and Sasuke is doing great, look at him. He's so dreamy." Chiyo said and Hatsumi nodded in wistful agreement.
"Ha, Watch as Naruto fails yet again." Hiroshi said and they laughed again.
"While Sakura is cute she seems like she would be incredibly useless when it comes to battle." Hatsumi said. I listened as they made fun of Kakashi's squad.
"Alright you little shits." I said and drug them out by their ears.
"Ow Sensei!" They whined and I tossed them away from the bushes.
"Now listen here you three, I want you to know that Naruto is a hard worker and he's going to be a great Ninja one day, maybe even a great Hokage someday if he works hard enough. You guys should be looking up to him and not bullying from a distance. Bullies never make great ninja and if you can't become kind people I will send you back to academy and make sure the Hokage will never let you three become ninja. Am I clear? Now I want you three to go apologize to Kakashi-Sensei's squad and work on becoming better people." I scolded them and they looked down sadly.
"But Sensei, you don't really think Naruto will become Hokage someday do you?" Chiyo asked.
"I do. He has a better shot at then you three do. I believe in him." I said and then an orange blur knocked into me. With an oof I looked down at whatever it was and seen Naruto hugging me and trying not to cry.
"Thank you for believing in me Akari-Sensei." He said and I smiled and pat his head. Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi came out from the bushes with small smiles on their faces.
"Now, why don't you three do what I told you." I said, glaring down at the three young ninja.
They bowed and each said sorry for being rude and insulting the three of them. When they stood Sakura smiled .
"Thank you for apologizing to us, we accept your apologies." She said and bowed and my three smiled.
"Why don't we train together today then since we are all here." Kakashi said.
"Sure, sounds good. I'd like to see if my Squad has been training at all." I said and smiled at my kids. Their red faces told me they hadn't been.
"Alright, well my Squad is working on chakra control." I said and Kakashi told me that was what his Squad was working on and we sat back, watching our kids fail and fail until sunset when most of them had gotten it at least somewhat.
"Since it seems I can't trust you three to train on your own time, meet me back here six a.m. sharp." I said and smiled. They groaned and made their ways back home. Kakashi sent his team home and we sighed.
"I apologize for my Squad again. I wasn't aware they were insulting yours." I said and he sighed.
"The way you handled it was better than most. You were stern but kind in a way, definitely handled it better than I would have." He said and I smiled.
"Well I have been working with kids for a few years now. I like to think I can handle them pretty well." I said and he chuckled as we came upon the door to our house. I smiled as he unlocked the door but it quickly fell as a note floated from the top of the door when he opened it.
"Here, let me see it." I said but Kakashi shook his head and ripped it up again before I could see even a glimpse of what was on the paper. I sighed but smiled a bit. It was mostly nice to know someone wasn't going to let me go through the horrid notes that man leaves me.
"You go take a shower and I'll get dinner going OK?" He said and I smiled, nodding before going to my room to grab my pajamas and a couple other things.
