Hera's POV
Today is the second day of my period and the napkin that I'm using is making me uncomfortable walking. I'm wearing a low neckline black long sleeves and low-waist denim pants. The Guardian replaced all of my clothes in my closet, including my underwear.
"Hi, Hera" one of my classmates greeted me before walking past me.
"Hera your face" I mumbled irritably. I'm still not used to being called Hera, even though the only difference is the last letter of my name. No one knows in my school now that Hero Sinclair existed.
I groaned when I saw Maria standing in the hallway, she was waiting for someone. She's one of the girls that I am flirting with before so I coolly walked towards her and greeted her sweetly. I felt sad when she just greeted me in return before walking past me.
I followed her with my gaze and was upset when she suddenly hugged a man and then she kissed him afterwards. We made plans two weeks ago that we were going to spend two days at her house because her parents will go to Europe for a business meeting.
"I should've shagged her the first time we dated," I said in regret while walking uncomfortably in the hallway.
My face brightened when I saw Andy heading to his class. I feel so sad right now and I need someone to comfort me so I called him. He immediately turned around and frowned when he saw me walking towards him.
"I'm sorry, but who are you?"
Could it be that the Guardian forgot to remove my existence in Andy's memory? I asked mentally.
I smiled at him instead of answering, then I pulled him towards the fire exit so that no one will hear what I'm going to say. He pulled his hand away from my grasp as soon as we reached there.
"I'm sorry miss but I'm not into this kind of thing—"
"It's me Ands," his eyes grew in confusion when I called him by his childhood nickname.
"Why do you know my nickname?" he asked frowning.
"It's me, Hero," I said smiling.
He gazed at me from head to toe, then he shook his head afterwards.
"No, you're not. He will never wear women's clothing over his dead body" I sighed. He really knows me well.
"Ands it's me—"
"Stop calling me Ands," he cut me off.
He doesn't like it when other people call him that. I'm the only one allowed aside from the members of his family. I sighed and thought for a moment. I can't blame him for being suspicious since I completely look different right now.
"You have a scar under your left chest, and you have dimples on your lower back" his eyes widen in disbelief but he didn't say anything so I continued.
"I also know how long your Johnny junior is when it is angry—" he covered my mouth to shut me up. We used to compare our di*cks before, it's one of the stupid things that we did when we were in junior high.
I pushed him away from me after a moment because his big hand almost covered half of my face. Plus it smelled like strawberry lotion from bath and body works. It's too sweet for me.
"Holy guacamole!" he exclaimed in shock. He blinked three times and pinched his cheek to make sure that he was not dreaming.
"What the hell happened to you?" he asked frowning.
"I am cursed," I said before sitting on the last step of the stairway.
I feel so tired and hungry already because of my period. He sat beside me afterwards and patiently waited for what I'm going to say next. I started telling him about the Guardian that appeared out of nowhere and the reason why I am being cursed.
