It was a warm, breezy summer day down in Virginia. The winds carried the soft songs of birds from treetop to treetop.

A small girl, no older than 5 laid in the short grass next to a beautiful light gray house. Her red hair stuck out from the bright green like a sore thumb. She giggled to herself as her eyes searched around. To her she was well hidden. No one would ever be able to find her.

"Gotcha!" A gruff manly voice yelled picking up the child into his arms.

"Daddy!" The little girl giggled as the man with long brown hair started tickling her. His rough fingers gently danced over her little belly causing cries of laughter to escape her mouth.

"I told you, daddy will always find you," he told her before placing her on top of his shoulders. He looked up into her bright blue eyes and smiled.

"One days I will hide goods enough that you won't find mes!" She said wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Daryl! Stryker! Lunch time," a beautiful sing song voice called from the porch.

"Comin' mama!" The girl called. The man carried her up the steps on his shoulders and set her down on the front porch where her mom had set out some sandwiches and iced cold lemonade for them.

"Tegan, are you going to eat?" Daryl asked his wife. They considered themselves married although they never had a ceremony. He had found the perfect ring for her and asked her to marry him.

"I will. Just eat up," Tegan laughed placing a kiss on top of his head. She watched as her daughter devour her sandwich in 2 minutes.

"Slow down there, lil' asskicker," Daryl laughed.

"Daddy, I want to go see Uncle Neggie," the girl said before gulping down her lemonade. Daryl looked up at Tegan, who shrugged.

"I'll take her," Tegan said. She wanted to see her brother anyway. It had been a few days since her last visit. Angie was probably there with the kids.

"Alright," he grumbled taking another bite of his sandwich. Daryl wasn't all that thrilled with Negan still being alive, but he pretended for his girls.

"Come on, Stryker. Let's go see Uncle Neggie," Tegan said holding out her hand for the little child to grab. She loved feeling her daughters little fingers wrapped her hand. They walked side by side down to the cell where Negan was still held after 5 years.

Angie and the twins were down there already. Their son, Colt, looked just like Negan. Their daughter, Blade, was a great mix between the two. Both had gorgeous black hair and fair skin like Angie. Blade had her father's temperament and Colt had his mother's.

"Bwade!" Stryker yelled to the other little girl who was sitting down next to Angie.

"Hi, Skye!" Blade giggled as they ran up and hugged each other.

"Uncle Neggie!" Stryker yelled running into the cell where Negan and Colt sat playing with action figures.

"Whoa there, kid. You're trying to kill me," Negan laughed as her foot went into his stomach.

"Hey, Ang," Tegan smiled at her best friend.

"Hey, T. What's up?" Angie asked. The women sat and talked while Negan played with the kids. The world felt right for once. The sound of children laughing filled the room. The smell of cookies wafted through the air and they all knew what that meant.

"Who wants cookies?" Carol sang as she pushed opened the door. All three kids ran up to the gray haired woman.

"I do, pwease!" Stryker asked politely. Tegan smiled proudly at her daughter. The twins followed Strykers lead. The red haired girl was only a month older than them, but they looked up to her. She was a leader.
