CHAPTER 32: Only One

Hawk's POV:

"Hey red riot. I need you to stay here while I go see where Bakugou's soul is."

"Huh!? but I thought he was devoured by Midoriya."

"There's no sign of demonic energy in or around him. So most likely he's by the judgment gates."

"Okay I'll stay here until you get back. "

I walk outside and spread my wings out. Unfortunately my feathers are low. So Touya uses his flames to propel us up to heaven. Once we reach the golden gates. We see Bakugou hugging the pure innocent soul of Midoriya. Unfortunately they both had angel wings and halos over their heads.

Bakugou's POV:

When the light faded away. I could finally open my eyes to see where I was. As far as the eye could see was white fluffy clouds and blue sky. Behind me I hear Deku scream.

"Kacchan you did it!"

As I turned around. Deku tackles me with a hug. So I hugged him back. My left arm at his back and my right hand on the back of his head. Pushing his face on my chest.

"I'm sorry for everything I said and did to you before Deku."

"I know Kacchan and I'm sorry for being weak and letting a demon take control of me."

My body trembles as I can't hold back the tears anymore. Deku starts shaking aswell and my shoulder starts to feel wet from his tears. A voice calls out to us that we don't recognize.

"Excuse me but would you both happen to be Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya?"

We look over to see a huge golden gate and what looks to be the pro hero Nighteye standing beside it. In sync we both nod yes.

"Alright well I guess I'd better tell you both what's going on then."

"We already know that we're both dead. So could you leave us alone?"

"I'm sorry about Kacchan. He doesn't know how to act nice sometimes."

"Fine I'll leave the two of you alone. After all coming back from the dead wouldn't interest you at all."

As Nighteye was walking away. We yell out.

"Wait really? We could go back home!? How come?"

"Well it's very simple. Because of my quirk. I can see what would happen if you were brought back to life. If you both stay dead. The world will be over run by villains. So in order to keep the balance. One of you must return."

"One of us?"

"So you're saying that one can live but the other has to stay dead. Why in the fuck aren't we both aloud to revive!?"

"If you both were to revive then the villains would have a weakness to exploite."
