"You were certainly making use of your rigging." Bismarck chuckles as she and the commander find themselves staring at a whole roast goose.
"I had to do something, and I didn't quite feel like blasting her at point blank range." The commander chuckles back before they both tear off the legs of the goose. Tirpitz has gotten a separate table for herself next to them despite Bismarck saying otherwise, and she's eating lamb stew.
"I just wanted you two to have some alone time in a sense." Was Tirpitz's reasoning. Eugen then comes around with glasses of wine.
"For the lovely couple~" Eugen says as she sets them on the table. "Don't mind if I take this chair once I'm done."
"Um... Alright." The commander replies, but only a minute passes before Eugen returns and plops herself in the empty chair. "I thought you had some work to do?"
"I have someone covering for me." Eugen says as she starts cutting into the goose. "So, you two got any plans for later on?"
"Plans?" The commander asks. "Not many really. It's hard to make plans when you've got two nations after your head, but just spending time with Bismarck is enough for me."
"Oh commander..." Bismarck says, blushing.
"Should I get you a wedding gift? Cause you two are all but married~" Eugen giggles.
"Eugen!" The commander and Bismarck shout, red as tomatoes, and much to their chagrin the whole tavern goes silent as many eyes are trained on Bismarck and the commander.
"Um... Ugu..." Bismarck whimpers, hiding her face with her hat.
"Oh you two are too much fun to tease~" Eugen giggles some more. "Please, go on where you left off, nothing to see here." And with that the tavern goes back to normal. Eugen then attempts to tease the couple again but they simply pay her no mind and drown out her words as they focus on their food. A half hour passes before the two finish eating and they, along with Tirpitz, head outside to escape the teasing heavy cruiser.
"I'm sorry I didn't do anything... I hope Eugen didn't ruin the date." Tirpitz says.
"It wasn't so much a date, but it's alright." The commander replies.
"Yeah, it wasn't anything to worry abo-WHOA!" Bismarck shouts as she slips and falls, but the commander is quick and catches her before carrying her around bridal style. "Oh commander..."
"Just kiss already goddamnit!" Eugen calls out as she walks over.
"Are you just going to follow them?" Tirpitz asks.
"Yes and no, I just want to see them acting cute together." Eugen replies. "I don't think any of us have seen Bismarck like this except when she's around the commander." She chuckles as the commander continues to carry Bismarck around.
"Okay, I think you can put me down now." Bismarck chuckles, and the commander slowly sets her back on her feet. "But thank you though."
"Yeah, no problem." The commander replies. "Anywhere else you really wanna go?"
"There's that cliff where you can admire the sea when it's not riddled with the struggles of war. Wanna head there?" Bismarck asks.
"Sure." The commander replies as the two head to that very cliff with Tirpitz and Eugen not too far behind. "You know, this is quite a beautiful sight when you really look out from here."
"Yeah." Bismarck says as the two take a spot on the cliff and simply admire the crystal clear water.
"I hope that one day, when the warring finally stops, we can head out here when we're older." The commander says. "We can make it a tradition to just take some time and admire."
"I think that can be made possible. I just wait for that day." Bismarck says. "That day where we can just lose ourselves in the moment." She adds, turning her head to face the commander as he does likewise. Finally, much to Eugen's joy, the two close the gap and their lips lock for the first time as the heavy cruiser does a fist pump.
"One day Bismarck." The commander says as he and Bismarck get up. "One day."
