Unaware that a fight was taking place between two gods, the god of calamity suddenly appeared in Honraoi, a flash of crimson red appearing with him, the only real sign of his teleportation. A heavy furrow was on his brows, confusion temporarily gracing his face. The entire temple was radiating negative energy, an energy that was usually caused by him, by his presence.

As far as Namjoon knew, he had done nothing to cause such energy to form.

He glanced around the area that he spawned, what had once been a lavish meeting room was now a part of a garden, with flowers that he has never paid any attention to. Although he'd have to admit, the garden definitely looked more alive than the last time he had been here. Namjoon knew he shouldn't remain in the garden for very long. The last thing he'd want is for a tree to attempt to kill him again. The last time he was in this garden, he almost tripped over a root and fell. Most definitely not one of his most godly moments. He was lucky that devices like phones didn't exist thirty years ago, which had been the celestial that he last wandered into the garden.

A few hesitant steps lead him closer to the open doorway that would lead him into the main hall. Those two steps allowed Namjoon to hear the slightest of the yelling that was taking place inside the main hall. Upon hearing the voices, Namjoon tensed up slightly, not wanting to face the people inside. He wasn't a very fearful person, nor did he typically shy away from an interaction with other gods. It was just those two gods that he didn't want to see, especially after what he had done to the two.

As unknown that it was to most, Namjoon used to love the power he had, accepted himself for it, and didn't allow it to become him. He once believed you could be more than your power, that it wouldn't alter your personality. He had once been happy to be himself. He could no longer say that truthfully.

It had meant to be nothing more than a joke, something that wasn't intended to last for as long as it has. It wasn't all completely Namjoon's fault either, as he couldn't have done it all by himself. Curses didn't come from the god of calamity. It came from the god of hexes, Wang Ka-Yee.

A curse is what both Jeon Jeong-guk and Kim Taehyung had. That very thing most definitely causing the argument between the two, as that was what the curse was meant to do. Make two friends hate each other. Namjoon wasn't usually the person to do that to someone, as he used to be kind to everyone. It was just that one day, he had been in meeting after meeting, and those two brats wouldn't leave him alone. So he asked his pal Ka-Yee, Jackson to all, to get the two brats off his back. He didn't ever think that Jackson would do what he did. He would never wish a curse upon someone, and yet, a curse was what his friend gave the two. They did leave Namjoon alone, but only because they were too busy fighting each other to bother him anymore.

The duo of mischief-makers was broken apart by a curse that wouldn't lift. He had tried for so long to remove the curse, but Jackson had disappeared, the cure to the curse going with him. He wasn't banished, as he, a supreme god, would have been summoned for a meeting. Without Jackson, the friendship continued to wither away, to the point that Namjoon couldn't face either one of them without a tar pit of guilt drowning him.

Neither one of them even knew that they were cursed. No one else knew either, no one but Namjoon and Jackson.

Namjoon had lost a part of himself that day, a piece of his goodness disappeared with the curse on the two boys. They had once been the best of friends, happy to be around each other, and now, they wouldn't even talk to each other without fighting. Namjoon knew that couldn't help it, a part of them internally yearning for their returned friendship, but the curse would always hold them back until it was gone.

Namjoon wouldn't stop until the curse was gone, but after a whole decade of searching for Jackson, he was still nowhere near closer to finding out where his friend disappeared too. Not a single step closer to lifting the curse.

He didn't want this curse to last forever, especially knowing that neither one of the boys deserved to hate each other for the rest of their lives. For a couple of seconds, Namjoon hesitated to further into the main hall, afraid to face the unknown that was waiting for him. Before he could even enter the through the doorway, a small figure ran out. His head was turned towards the main hall as he continued to watch the interaction between the frienemies, which caused him to run right into Namjoon's chest. The small god bounced off Namjoon's chest, a scared look on his face. The poor unsuspecting thing.

Yoongi wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings, all he knew was that one of the tall blond gods had been looking at him as he peeked into the hall, looking at everyone as they interacted with each other. He would never go into the room, the stares from the unknown and snickers from the known were too much for Yoongi to handle. He didn't want the supreme gods to hate him. Yoongi could only hope that the gods who lived in Honraoi didn't spread lies about him to the supreme gods. He was too young to be banished to live to the lower realm; their magic reduced to almost nothing, expected to live there for the rest of their existence.

Once gods were banished, they could never enter the promised land again. With the amount of magic that they'd possess after banishment, a demi-god would be more powerful. Demi-gods saw it as a challenge to kill banished gods, which usually meant that getting banished would be the equivalent to getting a kill order on your head; it was a death wish. Yoongi knew that he wouldn't last two seconds on the lower realm, demi-gods, or otherwise. He knew little to nothing about the way the lower realm worked, so he'd probably be killed by a . . . were they called cars? He couldn't remember. It wasn't very important to his day-to-day activities.

And that blond guy was a supreme god, Yoongi didn't need to walk up to him to figure that much out. Just knowing that the guy had been a supreme god made Yoongi fearful, so he turned and ran away. And now he was falling onto the cobblestoned pathways that surrounded the garden's floor.

Yoongi wasn't worried about the whole falling part; being a god meant immortality, it would simply ache for a while, but ultimately it would go away. No, Yoongi was worried about which exact god he had bumped into. The guy was practically oozing with power, so much that it made Yoongi want to shiver in fear. This felt like the amount of power only a supreme god could carry around.

Once Yoongi crashed onto the ground, he was momentarily shocked. He knew he was about to crash onto the ground; what he didn't expect was for how it would feel against his rear end. Once the shock was gone, Yoongi hopped back up, looking up at the taller god. Boy, was he shocked.

The guy was handsome. Most gods were, but this one stood out by far. His face was in between an oval and a heart. His forehead was wide, but not the widest part of his face. His cheeks were. His eyes were almond-shaped with kind, brown-colored iris's. His face kind of reminded Yoongi of an egg.

"I-I'm sorry!!" Yoongi said quickly, taking a step away from the gods examing eyes. Yoongi couldn't find it within himself to look the guy in the eyes. Yoongi darted into the garden, running around the god, not waiting for the guy to mumble a small 'it's okay.'

Namjoon had been star-stuck by the smaller god who he had never met before. Who he hoped he'd run into again before he left Honraoi again after the celestial.
