first challenge appears

After me and Cheree finished 'celebrating' we were going to sleep when my phone went off. It was a call from Steffanie, I pick up "hey how you'll feeling" "better than before" "I'm just calling to tell you that Hunter wants you and Adam in his office early tomorrow" "ok, thanks Steff I'll talk to you later" "bye James". We hang up and I look at Cheree who was sleeping, I wrap my arms around her and kiss her cheek as sleep takes over my body.

(The next morning)

Me and Adam were the first ones in the PC, waiting for us to be called into Hunters office. We sat on a ring apron when we got called into the office, Hunter told us to sit down on the two chairs in front of his desk.

"So I've decided since Roderick has requested time off, that the next program both of you will have will be against each other". Me and and Adam had a quick look at each "wait, why, we're both champions, shouldn't we be facing different people" "yes, but you see the undisputed era wants all the gold and James has shown that he has no interest in joining them, why wouldn't your character want to face James for the title" "I guess but I think we should face people face who haven't had a chance at the titles" "and I promise you that we have a plan for both of you after this and I think you will enjoy".

I making my way to gorilla when I saw Cheree and Steffanie talking in the hallway, I walked up behind her and hugged her "what are you doing" "just talking about how I'm going to kick her ass tonight and keep my championship" Tegan scoffed "no, we're talking about how I'm going to beat her and take the championship" "in your dreams, anyway what are you doing" "I'm in the opening promo" "well good luck, I'll see you later" she gives me a kiss before walking away with Steff and I continued to gorilla.

The undisputed era made their way out to the ring looking pissed, Roderick grabbed a mic "James, James Kennedy get your ass out now and give me my title back". I came out with a mic and the title on my shoulder "what do you want Roddy" "I want the title that you stole from me back" "the title? No no no, I won this title fair and square, while you and your little friends tried to cheat, and clearly that didn't work" I say the last part holding my title above my head.

Roderick turned to say something to the other UE members but was met with a super kick from Adam Cole. "This is why you don't have someone do a job that you can do by yourself, James or whatever your name is at takeover Boston I will take that title and become the first ever person to hold the nxt championship and the North American championship at the same time". Bobby and Kyle continue to beat down Roderick as me and Adam stare each other down.
