My Savior

JENNIE

I woke up early cause this is the first day I'm back in my own company here in my hometown. It feels so refreshing but the thought of Lisa near me causes me to be sad. I am longing from her hugs and kisses since I left her. The fact that I didn't contact her made me feel like there's a zero possibility that we will be back together.

I remember the last night's conversation I had with Jisoo and Rose' when they pick me up in the airport. They stayed here on my unit to catch up things and I can't help myself but to know everything happened with Lisa and her grandma.

flashback conversation last night

"how was she? is she still mad at me? does she have a girlfriend now? where is she working? please I need to know" I started pleading them. I saw them glance at each other then Jisoo nods at Chaeyoung saying to tell me what really happened. Chaeyoung let out a deep sigh before started to speak.

"like I told you earlier she became a mess. she changed a lot.. there were times that Jisoo and Seulgi will pick her up on a bar wasted . She was like that in a month or two or three. Then one time I pick her up and brought her to granny and it broke my heart when granny saw her wasted. She cried a lot. She didn't know why Lisa changed a lot but she knew that there's a problem. But Lisa being Lisa, she don't want granny to know."  tears fell on Chaeyoung's face and it started me to sob.

"I didn't know what brought her back to life after months not seeing us or communicating us. Then she decided to meet us on the same bar. That time I saw how thin she was, how pale she was.. but she promised us that she will recover and start again..that's why after our graduation, we applied and we got in! we all know how smart she is" my eyes widen in confusing and I wiped my tears falling..

"you mean-- ?" I asked in confusion

"yes Jennie. She's working now on your company but she didn't bother and believe us. She forgave you after we told her what really happened to you" Jisoo said while holding my hand. My tears begun to fall again but now it's a tear of relief. I smile in relief

end of flashback

"Irene, can you lend me all my schedule for today?' I ask my friend Irene who applied as a secretary on the company. It's my first day and I visited all the departments to meet all the employees but the only person that I want to see since the past 6 years, is still missing in action.

I'm sitting on my swivel chair while reading my schedule for the day with Irene in front of me focusing on laptop.

"Ahmmm. Irene?" I closed the laptop and fold my arms in front of my chest. My secretary lift up her head to me and arch her eyebrows for an answer.

"I thought Lisa's working here?" She nods and focus on the laptop.

"missing her?" she grin.

"absolutely" I sigh and stand up facing the glass wall, looking at the beautiful city of Seoul.

"well.. yeah she is working here and I think she's on the training hall.. she is training some new employees for a while now" I look at her still standing.

"in what position?" I asked.

"Info Tech.. She's one of the best Jennie. You must watch her training some other time. She's an asset like what your uncle said.. She's just a year here but your uncle promoted her being the Info Tech Manager for her performance.She even saved the company from multi hackers that would like to steal our finances" My lips form an "O" from what I've heard and that's how I remember my savior.

"earth to Jennie?" I got flinched when Irene snap me out of my trance and now in front of me.

"I just remember my savior. remember?? from high school?" I sit back to my swivel chair and lean my back.

"wh-what?? the fat guy?" She chuckles and shakes her head. I just roll my eyes and keep thinking about Lisa. I am so proud of her and the fact that my uncle approves by her genius mind, amazed me. Knowing my uncle, he is the kind of guy that is hard to pleased but in a span of 1 year he made Lisa become a manager and I know everybody approves that.

Gosh I miss her so much..

LISA

I smile from ear to ear looking at Jennie from afar. Today is her first day and I can't help myself but to look at her from her office. Seulgi also told me that she will visits all the departments to meet all the staffs that's why when I saw her near our department, I quickly left and went to the cafe' near the building. Anyways, Seulgi applied also here on the company as a maintenance and after a year like me, promoted as a maintenance supervisor. Her relationship with Irene even get stronger and planning for a wedding. I envy them.

I don't know how to face Jennie. Am I ready? I miss her so much and I forgave her already when Jisoo explained to me what really happened to her. How I wish I have know earlier what happened to her father so I can at least be there for her. But it was all in the past now and I am not holding any grudges now. The only thing I want to do now is to start all over again and begin to court her. But I don't know if she has a boyfriend now. I didn't asked Jisoo nor Chaeyoung about that. Maybe the savior will start and be back again. I smirked at my thought.
