My Savior

JENNIE

I sigh for I don't know how many as I rub my temples with my both hands on my office table with eyes closed.

"come in" I said upon hearing a knock from the door not breaking my hands on my temple and still my eyes closed.
"just put the papers on my table and leave please" I said again without looking at the person entered my office. I got flinched when a pair of hands grab my both hands and replaced it with her soft hands and started to rub it. By the touch of it, I knew it is Lisa.

"You've been working hard. You need to relax love" she said as she placed a kiss on top of my head. I open my eyes and look up and meet the most beautiful round eyes I've seen in my life looking worriedly at me as I force a smile at her.

I turn my swivel chair around to face her and I instantly wrap my hands around her stomach and lean my head like a baby. I heard her chuckle and she rub my hair slowly up and down.

"I'm tired of this project love but this is what the company needs" I felt her chuckle again.

"we'll talk about that later but for now, I bought you Iced coffee and lunch. Irene told me you're not coming out in this room since the lunch break started. I'm waiting at the cafeteria with the guys but it seems, you're planning to skip again" She lift my chin up with her fingers and I pouted at her causing her to smile and lowered her body to meet mine. She sigh then smile and peck me on the lips.

She pulls me up and drag me to the couch and I find a bag full of foods for her and mine and one iced coffee and one hot coffee.  We sit side by side and she started to placed the food on the table while I am side hugging her and I felt her sigh again. She put her arm around my shoulder and kissed the top of my head again.

"I see you're really tired and worried" I look at her and pull away my arms and sigh too and tears started to fall out of my eyes. I saw her widen her eyes and she quickly wipe my tears  with her thumbs.

"what happened love? you can tell me. I'm here please tell me" She worriedly asked.

"Actually, I'm done for my presentation tomorrow love. b-but when I was going to check it, and re-read it, the file crashed. there's some virus on my computer and I can't retrieve it. I asked some who have knowledge for that thing but they can't retrieve it either! If I will start again, It will took me 3 days to finished it again" I hide my face between my both palms and start sobbing. She hugged me tight and kissed my forehead multiple times.

"let's eat first please then let's see what can we do" I nod as she wipes again my tears.

LISA

outgoing call My Love...

J : "hey baby .."

L: "I heard you sigh again there missy"

J: "yeah but why did you call? it's almost 5 what's the problem?"

L: :"yeah about that love.. I'm afraid I can't drive you home .. but  I called your driver to pick you up and he's on his way now. I'm sorry baby but I promise to be with you by dinner cook for me?"

J: " looks like it is planned already Manoban.. what's your excuse now?"

L: "I'll be having this meeting with Mr.lee and it's urgent"

J: " okay.. what time will you go home?"

L: "you know I love how possessive you are to me love"

J: "answer me Manoban. You promised to sleep at my unit tonight"

L: "I know and I don't have a plan to break that promise.. I'll be home by 8 pm"

J : " okay love see you then"

L: " I'm sorry and yeah.. see you.. I love you baby"

J: "I love you too and update me.. behave"

L: "yes boss"

call ended

I sigh with a smile on my face not because the conversation we had but the plan I am having on my mind and I guess the savior is back !

I walk around the floor where Jennie's office is located to see if there's someone who still. It's 6:45 pm now as I noticed that no one is here. I ride down the elevator and ask some favors to the CCTV crew guy to look for a Japanese restaurant near the company but I know there is none. He quickly obliged and I promise him that I will look out for the CCTVs and he get out of his room. I pull out my mask and my black cap and black hoodie and wear it all. I don't want anyone to know especially Jennie that I'm her savior for years. Not now.

The elevator went up again as soon as wear all my disguise for CCTV purposes.
I immediately walk fast to Jennie's office and luckily, the door is unlocked. I went inside and locked the door behind me. I approached her computer and open it.

"My girlfriend forgot that I'm an IT genius!" I chuckle from what I just said.

I look at the time that reveals 7:16 pm. I started printing multiple copies of her files to be presented tomorrow on board. 20 copies to make sure and put it on folders.

I even made a front page of her file to make it presentable.

7:40 pm

I still have time. I arranged the files on top of her table as I smile from ear to ear. I made a note on a piece of paper and put it on top of the files.

'Obstacles are necessary for success just don't give up!'

     - I'm back because you're back. Please don't leave again.

I left the floor and proceed to my office to put my disguise to my bag again and a knock caused me to feel a slight nervousness in me.

I open the door and I saw the CCTV guy scratching the back of her neck nervously.

"Sir I've searched all the city but I found none. No Japanese food is within the area" he bow his head as I chuckle.

"Is that so? Well I lost my appetite just keep the money and treat yourself." I was about to walk away when I stop again and look back. Seeing the guy in confusion.

"And thank you sir" I smile and bow at him as I walk fast to the parking area.
