Tuesday.

I hate Tuesdays. I also hate Monday's and Wednesday's. I just hate the school weeks in general. Nobody ever likes school. You either get embarrassed or you zone out in between classes like a billion times. Really they should ban school from planets. Like why do they have to give us sooooooooooo much homework on the fucking second day of school.

Truly it's not like I actually do it anyway. I could just snap my fingers and have it done in seconds. Which is why, instead of working my butt off at home, I'm walking to my favorite ice cream shop with my earbuds in. I took the long way to get to Ice Cream You Scream so I could jam out to my music more. I like to widely dance to my music and that would look so weird if people were watching me so I take the much more quiet route. This route is quiet for a reason though. A lot of people don't live over here. These are where the poor live. The ones that struggle to get through life. I always pass by here. Some of the children that live in these houses even know me. Last week I came with food to give away.

But this time I'm gonna give something else. A better gift.

I pass a few houses. Instantly looking at a few with a terrible yard or no yard at all. Some of the people's lawns are a dirty colored brown so I make that turn into a brighter living green color. I pass one house with no garage door and the roof falling apart so I fix the roof and put a door on the garage. With one thought I also put twenty dollars in every one of these houses' pillows. Of course no one will ever know I did this. They won't suspect me. I'll make sure that to them this is just pure luck even if it was a miracle that a garage door miraculously appeared out of nowhere. It's not like I'll get caught anyway. I can do anything imaginable.

By the time I get to the ice cream shop I wasted all my energy jamming out and dancing that I now just nod my head along with the beat of the music. I walk into the place say my order, pay and then walk out with my ice cream and I didn't even stop nodding my head or take my earbuds off. I already knew how much my order was so I didn't really need to take them off anyway. Besides I can hear perfectly find even with my music blasting at full volume. I can also read lips.

Instead of walking back home I take another route and walk my way to an abandoned house. It's not really a house. It's like one of those warehouses where in those movies that superhero's go to get equipment. Or to hideout. I'm not a superhero though so really I just go there to get away from everyone.

I sit on the top of the roof and just stare out into space and talk to myself. "I wonder if I should become a superhero."

I lick my ice cream cone. "What would my name be if I was one?"

I think about it for awhile and end up smiling deeply. "Maybe I could be the Jammer!" I laugh to myself. "No. That's not right. Maybe I could be Star Girl? Or Stormbreaker? Maybe Firefly? Windstorm, Echo, Mystify, Electra, Pain Killer?"

I sigh. None of these super names fit me. I stand up and play the air guitar to my music. "The only good name is the Jammer." I start to widely dance and my ice cream falls off my cone. The sludge of ice cream resting on the ground beneath me.

I pout. "No! My ice cream!" Before I could cry about it I realized that I could just snap my fingers and another scoop of ice cream would appear on my cone and that's exactly what I do. I'm satisfied as I lick my ice cream cone once again. I sit back down on the roof and try not to do anything more stupid.

But when my butt hits the ground something shakes underneath me. And I fling backwards. I manage to protect my cone and stand up. I wobble as I try to gain my balance as the ground shakes again. The roof comes tumbling down. I scream on instinct as it takes me along with it. The warehouse crumbles inwards as I'm trapped in the building. Loads of concrete, broken walls and dust cover me everywhere that I can barely see the outside. A beam has fallen on me trapping me in place. If I even tried to move the beam would fall some more and crush me.

I take a deep breathe as I process that the stupid mother fucker building couldn't hold together and collapsed right on top of me and the worse part is that I didn't even finish my ice cream and now it's long gone. Buried underneath these dust mountains.

Just as I was about to magic my way out of the pickle I've gotten into someone appears out of nowhere. Obviously I'm bemused because there's no way no one was near this building when I visited it and there's a bunch of trees blocking the building so no one could've seen it fall. The warehouse is also in the middle of nowhere.

I peer through the crack that connects me to the outside and see the one and only Landen Jaye peer back at me.

The fuck? "What are you doing here?"

He looks worried. "I heard you screaming."

Oh yeah, that's right. Landen also has two abilities. He can not only control anything with his mind but he also has super hearing.

I know it's not fair.

So that must've meant that he heard me from town and flew over here as fast as possible.
He can't fly but he does have telekinesis. And he is smart enough to realize that he can also lift himself up in the air. I've seen him levitate in school before but I've never known that he was good enough to fly so fast that he could come to my aid in a minute. But it's not like I'm surprised, he's an over achiever.

I stare at him.

His expression laced with worry. "Are you okay? When I heard you I didn't even think to call 911. But when I get you out of here we're gonna head straight to the hospital. We obviously can't fly there though even if I can fly now. But I didn't bring a vehicle with me. Maybe I can bring you to the school nurse. She can heal you. Do you know where she lives?" He stops talking and stares at me when he notices that I haven't answered his question. So he adds. "Are you in shock? I need to get you out of here."

He goes to stand up but before he can lift his hands I yell at him. "Stop! Stop! Stop!"

He pokes his head back into the crack. "What's wrong!?"

"You can't do that. Just leave. I don't need any help. I've got it under control." I try to make my face look serious so I can convince him more but it doesn't work.

"Are you crazy!? You'll die if I leave!"

This boy is giving me a fucking headache.

"No I won't, okay? I'll call my mom she can help me more then you can." I try to reach for my phone, in my pocket but the building shakes and the beam comes falling down on me again, crushing me more in the process. I groan in pain as I slowly die inside.

I hear Landen speak again. "There's no way that's happening. I'm getting you out of here."
