Chapter 21

CYRUS'S POV

"You came!" Tj said with a smile on his face.

"Yeah, Ryan and Eric said that I should come support you" I lied. The truth was I felt bad that he always asked me to go to his games but I never did. The grin he had made him look really cute and it made me smile.

"Cute?, did I just call him cute?" I shook off the thought and took a picture of him with his camera.

"Where's everyone else?" He asked.

"They went back to my place to set up your party" I replied as we started to wall. "I was waiting out here for like thirty minutes you know" I said in a joking aggravated tone.

"Sorry I had to shower" He replied punching my arm playfully. I couldn't help but notice the way he smiled at me, his smile was sweet and made me smile back at him like he hypnotized me to smile or something.

"Well, we should uh get going, don't want to keep Ryan waiting" I said hiding my face from his, speeding up.

"Ooo, you like him" Bambi said appearing next to me. I rolled my eyes and ignored her comment.

"You're blushing" She said smirking.

"I'm straight" I said to myself knowing she would hear my thoughts.

"You called him cute" She argued. "And sweet" She added making me furrow my eyebrows.

"Shut up" I said to myself, rolling my eyes.

"You want to kiss him again?" She asked making me blush a light pink color. She chuckled as I blushed at the question. We went into the car and sat with no noise but the music playing. Half-way through the ride Tj's hand went on top of mine. It was weird, I wasn't uncomfortable with it. I looked over at him from the corner of my eye, and he was just looking out the window. Our hands stayed like that until we reached the driveway.

When we went inside everybody yelled congratulations and I managed to get a picture of Tj. They went all out with food and everything for him, but he deserved it.

"Hey, can I talk to you in private" Andi said.

"Yeah sure" I said confused. We went outside and she closed the door behind her. "What's going on?"

"I-I like you Cyrus, I like you a lot" I was surprised that she said that to me. The thought of her liking me didn't even cross my mind. I looked at Tj through the window frowning a small bit.

"Andi you're amazing but... I like someone else" I said in a low tone.

"Oh..." She replied softly in a low tone looking at me. "It's Tj, isn't it?" She said with a small smile.

"To be honest, I don't know" I replied sitting down on the front steps. Andi sat next to me giving me a small smile.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"When I'm with him it's like I feel..." I paused thinking of a word to say.

"Special" Andi said finishing my sentence.

"Yeah, but the other half of me just isn't sure, I'm not gay or Bi and I've never even had feelings like this before" I said putting my head on her shoulder.

"If you've never had feelings like this before, how do you know that your straight?" Andi said to me making me think about what she just said. I hugged her smiling at the help she had given me.

"You're going to be ok?" I asked her.

"Yeah" She replied with her usual sweet smile.

"Oh and Andi tell-"

"Tell anyone and you'll kill me, yeah, yeah" She said chuckling getting up me doing the same.

"We should get back to the party"

"Yeah, there probably looking for us" I joked. We walked back inside and everyone was talking while some music played.

"Where'd you guys go?" Tj asked as soon as we came through the door.

"Just to get some air" Andi said walking over to Buffy and Jonah. Tj looked at me in confusing and I smiled back at him.

~(After The Party)~

"So what exactly is the point of this?" Tj asked looking up at the stars with me.

"To just look at the stars" I replied. We were both on the bench swing in the backyard, letting it swing back and forth lightly. Hearing the click from the camera I knew Tj took a picture of me. "You and that camera" I said chuckling.

"Hey Tj" I said looking up at the clouds.

"Yeah muffin?" He teased making me smile.

"You ever wonder what would happen if you didn't talk to me?" I asked.

"I'd be failing math" He said letting out a short laugh me doing the same. "Honestly I don't know"

"You guys should come inside, its getting late" Ryan said from the window. Tj and I got up heading inside.

"Oh Cyrus don't forget our new neighbors are coming tomorrow, It would be nice to offer them help to move in"

"Ugh? do I have to" I argued.

"Yes Cyrus, it's the neighborly thing to do" Ryan said with a smile. "You can bring Tj along" he added heading upstairs letting out a yawn. After getting dressed for bed Tj and I were both laying down on my bed in the dark with him facing the left side and me facing the right.

"Hey Cyrus, you awake?" He asked braking the silence.

"Yeah" I replied barely awake.

"You ever wonder what would've happened if Ryan and Eric didn't take you in?" He asked quietly.

"I'd probably just be In another foster home" I said quietly. "I feel wanted here" I added in smiling.

"That's good" Tj said, even though I couldn't see him I knew he was smiling. 

"Goodnight Muffin" He said with a yawn.

"Goodnight Tj" I said back.
