A/N: In this chapter, I mention a book called Shiver, by Maggie Stiefvater. Of course, I'm just letting you know that the book isn't mine, although I do own a copy of it. If you haven't read it, then I do recommend it. It's an amazing book. In England I think it costs £9, that's how much mine cost anyway. But yeah, I just thought I'd let you know, and I hope you enjoy.
Chapter 4:
I'm what?
Amber's pov:
"Listen Barty, you need to enter my name, and make sure it's chosen." I say entering his, well, 'Moody's' office.
"I will, but you have to make sure you get Harry to the cup." he replys.
"I will, oh, one last thing. Make sure me and Harry aren't the only Hogwarts students." I tell him, before walking out.
Back at the common room, I slump into an armchair, with a book called Shiver. It's about a girl, Grace, and a boy, Sam. The boy is basically a werewolf, who every spring, transforms from a werewolf, to a human, and then in the winter, from human to werewolf. It's quite a sad book really, but I'm in one of those moods where I'm nervous, and when I'm nervous, I cry a lot, and become upset.
"Hey Ambs, what you reading?" Blaise says, grabbing a chair and sitting with me.
"Just a book, a really sad book!" I cry.
"And your crying at it?" he asks.
"Yes, it's sad!" I reply.
"Come here." he says opening his arms, and pulling me into a soft hug.
"Oh god, I probably look so weak right now!" I wipe the tears from my eyes, with the sleeve of my robe.
"Go and get changed, we can go and get some dinner." he says.
I nod, and close my book, placing it under my arm as I get up. In my dorm, I change into a pair of jeans, an Aztec print jumper, and a pair of fluffy boots. I run back down the stairs to Blaise, who's still in his uniform.
"Are you getting changed?" I ask.
"Nah, come on." he replys walking out of the common room, and making his way to the dinner hall.
The whole way there, we're near enough silent. It's not an awkward silence, it's a friendly silence. We arrive at the great hall.
"Amber." someone says from behind me.
"Yes Goyle?" I turn round to see Goyle panting, as if he'd ran.
"I just wanted to give you this." he says handing me a piece of parchment, and walking off.
"What does Goyle want?" Blaise asks.
"Dunno." I reply, shoving the parchment into my back pocket and continue eating.
Blaise and I stuff our faces, like seriously. We always eat far too much when it's just us two. Whenever I'm with Goyle, Crabbe and Draco, I always seem to eat to the extent where I'm full, but not completely full. I don't know how to explain it.
After dinner, Dumbledore speaks to us all.
"The tri-wizard tournament finalists will be drawn tomorrow after dinner. All be prepared for the results of it, you never know, you may be chosen! Now off to bed!" he says.
I know for a fact that I've been chosen. Obviously, Barty's put my name in it. I'm quite excited to be honest, I can't wait to take part in the tournament. I know exactly what I have to do... I have to make sure Potter doesn't suspect a thing. Then when he's most vulnerable, lure him to the Dark Lord.
