My Slytherin Prince- Chapter 6.

Chapter 6:

Battling my worst fear.

Amber's pov:

"Dragons, that's the first task!" Potter says as he races over to me and Cedric.

"What? Dragons? How did you find out?" I ask confused.

Barty hasn't told me about the dragons, he knows they're my worst fear.

"Hagrid, he let me see them. They've got a Hungarian Hornback, one of the most dangerous dragons in the world!" Harry exclaims.

"The task is two days away, how would we prepare?" Cedric asks.

"Practicing spells to repel the dragon, I don't know!" I reply.

"I'll let you know now, you're not allowed a broom!" Potter tells me.

"But you've got a wand!" I reply walking off.

I make my way to lunch, where I meet Blaise. We talk about the task, and he gives me a friendly prep talk.

"You'll be fine, just don't get eaten!" He points out.

"Oh, you're so funny aren't you Blaise!" I say sarcastically.

Half way through eating my lunch, Draco comes and sits with us, bringing Crabbe and Goyle with him.

"What's going on then?" He asks.

"Just discussing the task. It's dragons." I reply worried.

"Dragons, as in your worst fear dragons?" He says looking surprised.

"No, toy dragons. Of course my worst fear!" I reply.

I finish my pumpkin pasty and then walk to anatomy. Victor Krum bumps into me on the way, causing me to drop my books.

"I'm so sorry!" He says helping me pick everything up.

"It's fine, don't worry." I smile.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Hermione Granger staring at us. She looks like she has smoke coming from her eyes. I smirk to myself.

"You're taking part in the tri-wizard tournament right?" He asks.

"Um-huh, I'll see you there." I reply.

He kisses my hand and then winks at me. Granger then storms over to me.

"Look, just because you're taking part in the tri-wizard tournament, doesn't mean you can flirt with everyone." She says.

"Listen mudblood, he knocked my books out of my hand, and then asked me if I was taking part in the tournament. That's it, so next time, get your facts right before I hex you!" I reply pushing her out of the way to get to Anatomy.

Draco's pov:

I'm late to Anatomy, and I see Potter sitting next to Amber.

"Get out of my seat Potter!" I say walking over.

"I was just talking to Amber about the task, not that it's any of your business!" He replys.

"Just get out if my seat before I do something I regret!" I say getting closer to him.

He moves back to his seat with Granger, and begins to give me the death stare. McGonogall arrives late, around five minutes after me.

"Sorry students, I had to sort out one of Fred and George Weasley's pranks! Anyway, continue with your questions!" She says heading into her office.

Me and Amber do about ten questions before its the end of the lesson. We head to divination and it goes by pretty fast. I head back to the common room, expecting for Amber to follow me, as we need to do some more questions, but instead I see her walk off with Cedric Diggory. I'm not too bothered by this, although I do get a tad jealous. I fight they're to follow her and continue to the common room.
