It was dark.
"BCYMBA."
Foreign.
"BCYUAQUMM ALMSWMLAL LASZAJSK SWKEM OLPEMAK PZLMNDXF."
Everything went so fast.
"Cipher."
Who?
"AWAKEN¡"
The memory of an equilateral billion year old triangle, a certain evilness working to put together an eternal everlasting party for himself that almost ended the human race, leaving those who experienced the end of the world, traumatized. An unfortunate event that is engraved in their minds for as long as they live. The triangle admitted, he was proud of his work.
Until a fist collided his existence, disintegrating the triangle into nothingness.
The demon had been tricked in its own game.
And he for once, never expected to be defeated by a bunch worthless humans.
All of a sudden a burst of light clouded his vision. His eye had burst open at the impact, revealing at the other end a floating figure standing behold him.
"Rehpic lliB." It greeted, voice booming catching the triangle off guard. He stared at it confusingly, feeling something creep in the back of his mind. The triangle began fiddling with his memories, he knew he remembered that voice from somewhere. He'd been here before. Definitely.
"Don't tell me you forgot about me," The figure paused, coming closer. "Old friend."
The memory sparked, triggering Bill's sense of recollection. Nruter yam I taht rewop tneicna eht ekove I! Nrub ot emoc sah emit ym, L-T-O-L-O-X-A!"
AXOLOTL.
In the speed of light, it all came tumbling back - every failure that occurred during his triumph years. Every planet he visited, his Nightmare realm, his attempts to take over universes, every one of his altered deals, his enemies, his 'friends,' the destruction of his beloved Weirdmageddon - the Pines.
At the moment - A disturbing laughter erupted from him. The action came from the fact that he'd been failed to be erased from existence as he'd expected. He knew it couldn't be that easy, he's a god! After all. But the humor soon died out as he'd realize where he was and who he stood in front of.The Axolotl smirked. "I see you catch on quickly."
Bill only glared, "Why am I here? I thought after all the damage I've caused, which I personally see as accomplishments." He added. "You'd send me to pay for all my sins."
"Not quite, Cipher." It replied, it's hand motioning defiantly. "After all, your a dream demon. Meaning, you live on peoples dreams. Your chaosness on Earth was enough to keep your existence going, the people still seem to have you glued into their mind."
It took a few for it to process through Bill until he bursted into a fit of laughter. "Yo-You're telling me those useless meat-sacks is what's keeping me going right now? HA! Gosh those mindless idiots. Maybe I should go thank them myself for keeping the demon who almost ended their species, alive!"
"Im giving you an option here, demon."
The triangle went quiet, narrowing his eye in interest and confusion, "First of all, name's Bill buddy." He said in annoyance. "Second, why in all names of the universe would you even consider giving me another chance?"
"Unlike others, I'm willing to give those who did bad, chances. I do not wish harm on you, nor do I want to harm you but I don't defend your actions either. I'm letting you choose the path you want to take as if your deciding on your own fate. Though I-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, fate. It's a beautiful thing." The demon mocked, "So what your saying is," He floated towards the powerful being, "I get a due over?"
The Axolotl stared at him. Face emotionless. He knew what the disobedience dream demon was up to, he could almost predict his crazy schemes in the near future. But he also saw a major asset being thrown at Bills plans. The familiar Ursa Major. "But you must be aware, they're is a powerful source on that planet, 'Earth' as they call it, and it must tell you to avoid provoking it."
"Hold on." Bill interjected, his anger rising up. "What does this have to do with Earth? You think I'm gonna back to that shit-hole? There's no way."
Now it was the Axolotl's turn to laugh, making Bill even more angry. A few moments passed until the spirit calmed himself, returning back to the conversation. "I see you've gotten accustomed to using human words!" It hollered.
"Don't change the subject!" He growled.
The Axolotl was becoming aggravated and Bill began to notice. He decided to stop pushing it or the fool would most likely change his mind. He never knew how infuriating it would be not getting his way of things.
"You think you get to choose Cipher? Your lucky enough to be getting this opportunity!" It's voice echoed through the blind-sighting realm.
"But t-"
"Enough!"
Bill's color changed into a blood red crimson, indicating his rage towards his enemy's outburst. He was really provoking him and that was his max limit. He finally said, "You think your full of knowledge uh? Think you know everything? Enjoy that throne of yours while it lasts, friend..Because, well I guess we both know what my fate is now." He spat, spawning his complementing top hat and cane, wrapping his fingers around the handle. "Lets get on with this, time isn't exactly our ally here, now is it?"
"YIYORNYDYF, BAOTBDPS, AUTHKODG HOCZHYUK, RYWSGKOGHKGYUFJTQ, DEKOVE REWOP TNEICNA."
Everything around them began dissolving quickly as Bill's usual maniac laughter rang through the process, "I'll be back my friend! And don't expect a heart warming gift!"
Then everything went quiet as he was welcomed by darkness.
Yet, Bill's expectations were enough to keep everything bright.
