First Mission 2

Paimon Household.......

Thousands upon thousands of devils are fighting, in air and in land. Demonic power are being constantly used, magics are being fired almost everywhere.

Bloods spilled, many devils died, and the numbers are still increasing.

At the sky, six figures are fighting each other, the six of them are so strong that a simple punch from them causes strong wind pressure.

Their demonic energy are so strong that it couldn't even be compared to any soldiers down below them.

I'm currently standing at the field where we train, waiting for the large-scale teleportation magic device to be activated, along with the rest of my squad.

After we are briefed by our colonel about the mission, we quickly prepared ourselves and went to the field.

There are currently 5000 of us, including the magic division.

We received a news that the Paimon is already attacked, and they could hardly defend themselves.

I don't actually know why, but I had a bad feeling about this mission.

As if there is something that are not in place.

Like just why did the Valcan attack the Paimon even though there are other clans at the same level as the Paimon, which is also close to the location of the Valcan.

Why would they attack the Paimon which is very far away from them.

But, even with this unpleasant feeling I've been having, I have no right to question my superior.

Putting aside my rank, even with my strength right now, each generals can squash me to death.

"Soldiers, the Divice has been activated, prepare yourselves!"

Colonel Vivian's voice echoed throughout the field.

From what I know, we are the one assigned to the west side. Our plan is actually pretty simple.

Since the Valcans are already having a clash against the Paimon, the three squads will form an encirclements and close off all possible escape routes.

Then, the army will send reinforcement directly to the Paimon territory, and when the Valcan planned to escape, we will be there to stop them.

If, by any chance, that the Valcan did not escape and decided to fight, they will send a signal and we will leave our position to attack the Valcan in all sides.

We will destroy the Valcan in one go.

.....Reality is a lot harsher than you think, everything will not go as you plan.

I look beside me and spotted Fiana with the same look as when I first fought her, completely emotionless and eyes cold enough to cause one to freeze.

I took my eyes off of her and concentrate.

This is my first time going to war, and even though I already killed people(devils),

I don't think I'm ready enough to join the battlefield where thousands upon thousands of people(devils) will get killed.

"Prepare your wings! We will be directly teleported in mid-air."

And with a bright flash, we disappeared from the field and appeared above some kind of forest.

My reactions are pretty fast and before I even move from my position, my wings already spread.

"Conceal your presence and hide behind the trees below, we will wait here and ambush them."

Hearing Colonel's words, I, and the rest quickly hid down below.

We even spread to cover more distance, we even bumped into some soldiers from the squad assigned to the south.

Once I found a nice spot, I took a deep breath and calm myself.

This is the first step on increasing my rank, I don't want to mess this up.
