Chapter 17: The Horrible Truth (FlashBacks)

This is a chapter to where I reveal Taffeta's true past.

Blitz: "Guys, we really have to talk to Taffeta. She's been ignoring us for too long."

Ry: "Yeah, I guess so..."

Oliver: "Meh."

Blitz: "Jeez, Oliver... You could at least help us."

Oliver: "Why should I? She obviously doesn't care about us anymore, so why should we?"

Blitz: "Oliver. We made a promise to the villagers that we'd protect her."

Ry: "Yeah!"

Oliver: "Fine..."

The three leave their dorm to find the brown haired pirate.

Fire. Fire was everywhere. I searched for so long, but i know I'm cursed. Ever since I've traveled alone without my father, I've been through countless bad luck. I've tried to run but they caught me. I was used as an experiment. I was abandoned. I hated him with all my might.

Seeing people getting slaughtered by a Grimm. I ran under a house. I look to the next house to me. I see a boy and girl. The girl has dirty ginger hair and the boy has black hair with a magenta stripe. It's in a bun. I could tell I was older than them. I hold my knees to my chest and start crying. I was thinking happy things. So... It didn't really attract the Grimm. When everything was clear, I ran out, fast. I ignored the warnings from the boy and girl. I only stop for food, water, and rest. It wasn't long before I made it to another village. It was lively. I see a group of three boys. The oldest has maroon hair, maroon eyes and is holding a stick. The other boy has dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He's also holding a stick. The last one has dirty red hair with Faunus ears and amber eyes. All three are wearing pirate hats. The tall one has stained white shorts, shite ripped tank top, and a red jacket. The blonde boy is wearing a white dirty jacket, green shorts, and blue sandals. The redheaded Faunus is wearing blue stained jeans, green jacket, dirty scarf, and a purple belt.

Yes, that's Blitz, Oliver, and Ry. My best friends. Yes, we all met when we were younger. I was en Separated from them and I boarded a ship. It took me to an island with people who looked after me. After 3 months, I went back and saw the same boys. Different clothes and looks, but they still had the pirate hats. They welcomed me. We started our adventures as sweepers. Sweepers are like bounty hunters. We caught a few people for our age. We got our first pirate ship. It was fit enough for about 14 people. We obviously didn't know how to drive it. So, we had some mentors. I remember that night... How beautiful the stars were. It was also so quiet. Though I had been through pain, I still smiled.

Taffeta is seen on a cliff, looking at the coursing river below. She walked back whilst taking off her coat, hat, and over shirt. She was left in her tank top. She said something that everyone heard, clear as day.

Taffeta: "Emerald, end the illusion."

Through her earpiece, an 'ok' was heard. Taffeta reveals that she has Fae wings. She gets a running start and jumps off the cliff. She flies as the rest of team ORBT show up, just as she passes a wall, out of sight.

Oliver: "OH MY GOD, SHE JUMPED..."

Blitz bends down as Ry and Oliver start freaking out. He touches the mud likes he's a detective. He looks at the left side and picks up a black feather. He looks out in the ocean and gets up. He squints his eyes and sees Taffeta with black wings and black horns. He also blushes a bit. Her hair was down. It was usually put into a pony tail. He looks behind him and walks away with a concerned Ry and Oliver.
