Chapter 10: First Kiss

Annabeth's POV

Right now I was in the Athena cabin, looking at our Camp's map, thinking of a strategy to beat the hunters and their stupid guardian. I meant seriously, Tom is way better than Percy. You might ask why I leave him, Isn't he nice and loyal? Whatever he isn't really a good boyfriend. Tom is way better.

Back on topic, I was finding ways to beat the hunters when there was a knock on the door. "Come in," I said.

Clarisse, the leader of the Ares cabin walk in. "Meeting in 5 minutes."

I nodded my thanks and she walked away. Five minutes later, I arrive at the BIg house and saw the cabin leaders there.

"That's discussed our strategies for Capture the Flag," I said. Everyone nodded their head so I continued. "

"The cabin that I call right now will go for the flag," Everyone waits for me to continue. "Athena, Hephaestus, Apollo, and Hermes cabin."

The said cabins all nodded their heads. 

"Demeter, Zeus, Poseidon, Dionysus, Ares cabin will defend the flag," I continued, looking at each of the cabins as I said it. "The rest will distract the Hunters."

"Any objection?" I asked. Everyone seems happy about their role. Tom gave me a smile that can make me melt. I blushed and smiled back. Everyone left, going back to their cabin to prepare.

Third Person POV

The hunters go are assigning different roles to each other. Thalia and Ally are going to be guarding the flag. After Apollo check her all over again to make sure she is good enough to capture the flag and won't get hurt. Ally just rolled her eyes at him.

Lily, Hailey, Carrie, Taylor, Lucy, Sophia, and Alexandra will be going for the flag. The rest of the hunters will be distracting others.

Everyone get ready for capture the flag after lunch.

"Hunters and Campers, you know the rules. The creek is the boundary line. The entire forest is a fair game. All magic items are allowed. The banner must be prominently displayed, and have no more than two guards. Prisoners may be disarmed, but may not be bound or gagged. No killing or maiming is allowed. I will serve as a referee along with Lady Artemis. I will also be the battlefield medic. You may begin... NOW!"

Everyone charges forward. Some Hunters with a bow and some with a hunting knife. Most of the Campers used swords. Some also used bow and arrows. Some used spear as well. Sound of sword clashing could be heard though out the forest.

The Athena cabin leads their team to the hunters' flag.

They saw Thalia guarding it. Everyone at their thinks that they will win because they only saw one person and they have a whole team. What they didn't know is that Ally is also there, invisible. The campers attack, only to hit an invisible wall.

All the campers stare at them. "WHATS!?" Many of them shouted, causing Thalia to turned and smirk at them before Thalia fired her arrows that contain electricity. Unlike the Campers, the arrows have no problem passing. Thalia suddenly heard Ally's voice in her mind.

I will be right back, I need to help Percy.

Thalia nodded her head, knowing Ally can see her.

All of the campers quickly falls because of it. With all those distractions, the two hunters Carrie and Taylor carried the flag to the other side of the creek. The Hunters cheers. Chiron announced.

"The Hunters win," Softly he mumbled. "Again" Hunters who heard that laughed. 

Meanwhile, when all that happens, where Percy is helping distract the Campers along in the creek. No one wants to come near him. Annabeth, Tom, and the Seven walk up to him.

"Hi," Percy said without many emotions in his tone. They ignore him. "What do you want?"

"We are here to give you a message," Annabeth snared. The rest of them nodded their head as well.

Tom continued for Annabeth. "You are nothing but a fool. Running away because someone who doesn't love you breaks up with you."

Annabeth added. "You are a useless piece of trash."

Unknown to everyone, all the seven beside Annabeth have tears in their eyes. Not wanting to do this but was dragged along by Annabeth and Tom. Suddenly, Ally appeared.

Annabeth glared at her. "What are you doing here?"

"You should not say those things to my brother," She answered calmly, though you can see anger flash in her eyes. "Stay away from him or you will have to deal with me."

She gave Annabeth one more glare before giving the seven minus Annabeth a wink and a smile. The seven sighs in relief. They are just pretending to be with Annabeth and Tom. Secretly, they don't want to betray Percy.

The Hunters were celebrating their win in capture the Flag. The campers just glare at them. The Hunters's glared back happily. Ther campers aren't really staring at the hunters either. They are staring at their guardian, Percy.

"Good job Percy," Thalia told him. He smiled at her.

"You did good," Ally said, appearing next to him. He yelped. He will never get used to the way Ally appears out of thin air. Ally laughed, she has a blue lemonade in her hand.

"Where did you get that?" Percy asked Ally.

She looked at the drink in her hand and frown. "I asked the cup to give me a blue drink and this is what it gave me." Percy facepalm and laugh.

Artemis' POV

The evening soon reaches us and I was about to go back to cabin eight when I heard voices at the beach and one belong to my hunter. I creep closer as I heard voices.

"You will be okay, they didn't mean what they say," Ally said faintly. "Think about it okay, Good night"

Ally disappear, probably going back to my cabin. I approach Percy. He has his face in his hand, crying.

"Are you okay?" I asked him softly. His tear strain face looked up at me and quickly look back down. "I'm okay."

Clearly, he is not okay. I don't know what I was thinking back then but I wrapped him in a warm hug. He sniffles in my arm, making my cloth wet. I don't really care right now. I put aside my man hatting side and try to be a good friend. I make him look at me and wipes his tears away.

"I told him. "Whatever you are crying about, put it behind you. Think about the present, not the past." He nodded his head.

The next thing that happens was not planned. We both leaned in. My lips touch his soft one. We broke apart three seconds later. Percy stared at me with wild eyes. We both blushed and look away.

"I really like you," I told him. He smiled making me blushed even more if that is possible. 

"I like you too," Percy told me. Emotions went into me. I have no idea what half of them are. It is emotions that I have never felt before. We leaned in again, but before our lips touch, I heard a cough behind me.

"Am I interrupting something?"
