Kenzie POV
It's been about 3 classes since I've seen Johnny or acknowledged him. If he is done with me then I'm forced to mine on. As I walk to lunch I see that all the football players are looking at me, being uncomfortable I shoot johnny a look saying 'they're are staring, and I'm uncomfortable'. He obviously understood because he started yelling at them, I just gave him a small smile and continued walking to my table.

"Soooooo me and Carson were going out tonight and we were wondering if you wanted to come" Brynn said stuffing her face with skittles "yeah I would live to be a 3rd wheel" I say sarcastically "you won't be 3rd wheeling we aren't dating" Carson said taking some of her skittles "hey that's my candy" she yelled slapping his arm "that I bought" he said smiling "then why is Kenzie eating it" she asked as I grabbed some for myself "because she's Mackenzie" he said which caused us to laugh. As I turn around laughing I see Johnny looking at me, all I do is give him a fake smile and wave, he does the same then I turn back around.

After school
"Hey kenz" I heard someone yelled from behind me as I walk to my car "oh hi Brandon" I say smiling "I was wondering if you wanted to see a movie with a group of us sometime" he said shyly "well it depends on who's in this group" I said smiling "um well it's me,Johnny, Hayden, Annie, Brynn, and hopefully you" he said smiling "I will have to think about it but it's not a no" I say still smiling "ok cool, um I'll see you around" he said walking away "yeah see you around" I yell back walking away. As I walk away I have a huge smile on my face, I mean I definitely don't like him but it's good to know someone might like me. As I walk to my car I see Johnny staring at me weird

"Why were you talking to him" he asks with an angry attitude "he asked me a question, what am I supposed to do. Ignore the guy" I say defending myself "well what was the question" he asked telling me to continue "he asked if I wanted to hang out with you and your friends gosh" I spat. Immediately his face changed into a soft face "well what did you say" he asks clearly embarrassed "I said I would think about it but I really wanted to say no" I say grabbing my keys from my pocket "and if you will excuse me I would like to leave" I said pushing him back "look Kenz I'm sooo sooo sooo sorry about yesterday. I was mad and hurt that you didn't trust me and I yelled at you, which I know is wrong but I couldn't help myself and I'm super sorry" he said looking into my eyes "whatever" is all I say as I get into my car and pull out .

When I got home I saw another car in my driveway, the car didn't seem familiar. As I got out I heard arguing come from the living room, I opened the door and I saw my dad sitting on the couch as my mom yelled at him "what is going on here" I ask opening the door "your father thought it would be great to show up to me with divorce papers" my mom said which confused me because they have been separated since I was 7 and they are just now getting a divorce "well sign the damn thing so he can leave" I say handing her a pin "why would I do that. We are married couples aren't supposed to get divorced" my mom said sounding absolutely crazy "sign the fucking papers Melissa" my dad spat "mom just sign the fucking papers" I yell at her "no we can fix this" she yells "if you don't sign the papers I will leave" I say knowing she needs me

"What" she says confused "you and dad are terrible for each other, and it's so fucking annoying that you think that he still loves you, get over him and sign the damn papers" I scream "Mackenzie go upstairs we will talk about this later" my mom yells at me after about 10 seconds of silence "bitch" I mutter under my breath and stomp upstairs. Once I get in my room I breakdown into tears, I've always hated how my mom thought the my dad was a hood guy. She is convinced that he still loves her even tho on numerous accessories he ha said he literally hates her and she still thinks he loves her.

It's been about 10 minutes of me crying and my parents are now screaming at each other, I can't take this anymore, I have to resort to plan B, which is going to Johnny. We are always there for each other and since Maddie went back to her house in Beverly Hills he is my only option. *remember Brynn and Carson are hanging out* I brace myself to leave my house, I don't feel like going through his window right now.
