Kenzie POV
It is later that day around 10 when I heard the doorbell and Johnny was sleeping next to me so I got up and walked downstairs to be greeted by some girl "um hi" I say confused "oh sorry this must be the wrong house" she said smiling "oh ok, I like you shoes by the way" I said "thanks. Nice shirt I feel like I've seen it before" she said which confused me but then she left. I didn't feel like climbing up the stairs so I decided to go to his kitchen and eat me some food.
About 20 minutes Johnny came down and he looked super cute, "when did you get down here" he asked "the doorbell was rung and I didn't feel like walking upstairs" I said shrugging "who was it" he asked grabbing a pan "idk this girl with red hair, she was super pretty" I said looking down "you are also super pretty" he said turning around "but she was hot" I said "so are you, you have pretty brown eyes, and you smell amazing" he said wrapping his arms around my waist "see she looked like you, but she had red hair, she has dreamy green eyes and perfect complexion" I said "I mean I do have pretty eyes" he said
"Do you want anything to eat" I ask him "how about I cook you something" he asked "John you can't cook" I said laughing "I can try, and your sick so I need to make you feel better" he said "ok so what do you want" he said opening his fridge "ok well Brynn ate all our food so what should we order and I can pretend I made it" he said grabbing his phone. We decided to order Chinese food and just watch movies.
We have been talking for about 30 minutes about all we have missed in that month that we weren't together, "so did you go on any dates" I asked him "I went on one and I hated it, but the thing is I didn't know it was a date til she told me" he said "damn you probably hurt the girl Orlando" I said laughing "Well when gurls say hangouts I didn't know that meant date" he said laughing just then the doorbell rang. I was going to open it when he did "hi" he said sounding weird "hey Kenz they need my help so I'll be right back" he said "ok" I said letting him close the door then I rushed over to his phone to check his texts and he had like 50 from this Nadia girl
I'm trying to keep my calm and I dint care that he's talking to her it's the fact that he didn't tell me. I decided that I would give them some time to catch up and see if any feelings are still there, I gathered my things and went for the door. When I opened it I saw the same red haired girl and Johnny talking. "I'm going home" I said softly "no Kenz it's not what it looks like" he said "no she's here. And I told you I don't want to stand in the way of anything that could still be there" she said smiling "are you breaking up with me" he asked confused "no I'm just letting you open your options" I said "it sounds like a break up" she said
"Well then I guess it's a breakup" I said shrugging my shoulders "so your giving up on us because she can't into the picture" he asked clearly pissed "I'm letting you go. You used to love her and there might be something there still and if there is have fun with it" I said trying not to cry "I don't want to breakup" he said "then don't let us. If in 2 days you can tell me you don't love her or want her at all then this never happened, but I you find out that you want her then I'm not going to be mad at you. I will still be your best friend but just not in a dating way" I said letting a tear slip from my eyes "I can tell you right now I don't love her" he said getting closer to me "do you want her. And I mean the slightest bit" I asked him looking directly in his eyes "Kenz" he said sounding like he was going to cry
"I'm not mad Johnny, I just want you to answer the question" I said lifting up his face "I want you-" I started "but you want her too" I said and all he did was look down "ok I'll let you figure this out" I said pulling away "just saying you are super pretty" I told Nadia "so are you" she said giving me a fake smile "your a bad liar you and Johnny are perfect for each other" I said laughing which caused him to chuckle through his tears. "Well I should get to bed, I'll see you around Orlando" I said walking away trying not to cry but it didn't work and all the tears I've been hiding are coming out. I can hear voices in my house and I know that it is my friends because they are arguing about movies
