Michael stood with Taylor on the roof of one of the ranches, things had just started to look up after getting back from their most recent mission in Taiwan when they got the news about Taylor's father and the Joule. For the past bit, they'd been looking out at the billions of stars in the sky. Michael turned to look at Taylor, admiring the way she looked under the starlight. She then titled her head and smiled at him, enjoying the general peace of the situation, unlike what they'd recently been experiencing.
Michael smiled back, tapped his phone a couple times, turning on soft music before putting it in his back pocket, and on the spot asked her, "Would you care to dance?"
Taylor nodded and grasped his hands. They began to dance around the roof. (The roof has a fence thing around it so they're not gonna fall off)
No more talk of darkness, forget these wide-eyed fears
Beaming, they twirled around, loving the feel of the cool night air. Neither of them knew how to dance too well but they tried, having fun anyways.
Say you'll love me every waking moment, turn my head with talk of summertime
The room slightly started to spin, both starting to get dizzy from all the twirling. Smiling all the while, they slowed down a little.
Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime, let me lead you from your solitude
Memories of what they thought were their last moments on the Ampere floated to mind as the swayed. Memories of promises yet to be fulfilled. Of a future with each other. Of a better life.
Love me, that's all I ask of you
Knowing that the next few days would bring close to nothing but further heart ache, Michael and Taylor decided to stay in the moment, valuing every second of the tranquillity. It was simple but oh so important to remember that there would be another dawn, that the night and all the pain it brought wouldn't last forever. The music of the night wouldn't be everlasting.
Love me, that's all I ask of you

That one was real short but sweet! Sorry for not updating for literal months! How is everyone? Any changes? Any quarantine tea? It's actually been a while since I've took the time to read through the whole series so I'm just kinda hoping this is accurate. If you can't tell, this one was HEAVILY inspired by The Phantom of the Opera. Spoiler alert: the actual musical is so much better than the movie. I hope you're all doing okay and staying safe through these scary times!
