Lady Pirate

Prologue

A seventeen year-old girl with long wavy black hair was standing inside her cabin, looking through a window as the scent of cherry blossoms lingered near her person. She wore a blue frilly dress that her grandfather had forced upon her, along with a red rose in her black hair and a white necklace. She was classically beautiful, but her looks did lean slightly towards androgynous. The most starling feature on her, were her sorrowful amber eyes.

You may ask, 'Why were a seventeen year-old girl's eyes so sorrowful when they should be filled with life and happiness?'. However, would it dawn upon your simplistic human brain that the girl was being forced into marriage with a marine captain? A marine captain who happened to be thirty four? No, perhaps it wouldn't. You see, times are so much different in the young girl's world. There are many things wrong in this world, from slavery to corrupt marines. Most of the current age's pirates are anything but the pirates of Gol ·D· Roger's age. But I am not here to insult your intelligence, I am here to tell you a story. A story about love, piracy and adventure. This is the story of Monkey ·D· Luffiana, the woman who disguised herself as a man for her freedom, for her dreams.

"Lulu-chan, your wonderful Jiichan is here!" Garp exclaimed as he went inside the Luffiana's, room. The porcelain skinned girl blinked and turned her gaze towards her grandfather, "Jiichan? What's the matter?" She asked. "I got you new clothes!" Garp said cheerfully and put down a few shopping bags and boxes on the floor. "Try them on when you can, Marianne also chose some for you!" Garp said and left once more, presumably for a nap. Luffiana sighed and approached the boxes and bags apprehensively. She immediately spotted a box with the text; Hiname's wedding dresses. Ignoring the box, Luffiana moved onto a bag that said; Hiro's cross-dressing. With interest, Luffiana started digging through the bag with a surprising amount of excitement. It seemed her maid, Marianne, had decided to help Luffiana out with her plan.

'What plan?' Some of you may wonder, however it should be fairly obvious. You see, Luffiana is going to sail away. She was going to sail the ocean as a free 'man', and no-one was going to suspect that she was actually Luffiana, as she was going to take up a new name. In later years, she would be known as the infamous Captain of the Straw hat pirates, Straw hat Luffy... That is if she manages to hide her secret. If she manages to shake off her pursuers who want her to marry a certain marine captain.

Shuffling around with the cross-dressing bag, Luffiana pulled out chest wrappings, a red vest and black pants along with sandals. Then she shook her head, 'No, not enough'. She found boots, a white pirate style shirt along with a red sash. She wrapped her chest, put on the shirt, sash, pants and boots. She then packed everything she could use at the sea and took out a pair of scissors. Sighing, Luffiana opened her mouth and started to sing,

"I saved every gift you gave me

From the moment I saw them

I knew you were family

You said you were family

I thought were family"

"Do you know what Ace said,

when he saw you order me around?

He said: 'Let's escape to the sea, love

he will separate us soon'."
