They promised us a better future
They promised us the best
They made us dream of a better tomorrow;
Yet they manipulated us
They made us see what they wanted to show us
Alast we fell for the falsehood
And today our country is falling
Our voices being oppressed
And our Hope's being crushed
Religions being murdered
And our sisters being raped
What happend to secularism ?
What happened to culture ?
Where is the democracy our country was built on ?
Where in the world would we feel safe when we've come to the point where living in our own country scares us !!!
