Chapter 12

After dropping Soe Yeon off at her place, a smile cannot escape my lips. I remember todays events and a light chuckle escapes my lips.

I put my thought aside and focus on where I may be going next, the hospital. I remember Soe Yeon's words that were said in the car when she told me about her breakup story, immediatly, I remember my own, from 8 years ago.

𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 8 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼

'Babe, I can't come over now, I am busy, I told you I'll be having a friend over', I hear from the other side of the line. A frown makes it's way on my lips and I sigh.

'But I planned everything, just think again, I promise you'll have fun', I reply, a pout making its way to my lips as I speak.

Today we were going to go to our first date after our second year anniversary. I planned this for a couple of months now, using the help of some friends, but at the moment my girlfriend wasn't cooperative at all.

'Jungkook, I said no. Look I can't come with you, deal with it, maybe tomorrow or some other time but now no'.

'Fine, but who do you have over', I wait for a respond.

'Minsoo', She replies, her voice sounding shaky.

'Fine,okay, bye'.

I stare at the wall before me and sigh, why am I doing this? She's obviously pissed, was it me? What did I do? I only want her to have fun, and she's treating me this way.

I whine in frustration and decide to drive over to her house. Sure, she's going to get mad, but at least I should spend time with her. The moment I step out of my room, I get a call from Jimin, a childhood friend of mine.

'Jungkook I think something is gonna happen if you go',he warned after I told him where I will be heading too. I frown a little and ask him why, 'Just don't go, she obviously doesn't want you there. Why are you going anyway', he replies.

I don't listen to him and pull up in her street, the dull light barely allowing me see anything. I put a smile on my face as I exit the car and hang up with Jimin.

It took me a few minutes until I pulled myself together and stood in front of her door, softly knocking on the hard wood. When no one answered, I knocked once more and waited for her to come out.

When no one answered once again, I frown a little and turn around when there is no respond, until I mumbling coming from the other side. I turn around and hopefully wait for her to come out, but who came out wasn't her, never would have I thought she would do this.

My eyes widden. No way. Why would she do this to me.

The person in front of me widdens his eyes and shakes his hands out, eyebrows furrowing a little, guilt could be found in them. She came out behind him, her red robe clinging onto her body.

That's when I don't hisitate to walk away, warm tears escaping my eyes unconsciously.

I shake my head in disbelief as I remember what has happened, I try to ignore the past, but fail to do so.

I remember how shocked she looked to see me, how both of them were shocked. What did I expect after all, she wouldn't treat me like a normal girlfriend would, and I was there, trying to believe that she still loves me .

In fact, her affection and love towards me started to vanish after our second year dating, but I was too blinded to notice. She would always act distant near him, my best friend.
