I stare at the ceiling above me blankly, the window next to the bed allowing faint light to pass through. It's been a month, a month since everything changed, since I last saw Jungkook and spoke to him. Ever since then, he's no where to be seen, he still goes to work, sometimes as I heard, but barely comes back here.

I guess his mother's death had quite a huge impact on him. So did mine.

I look at the alarm clock next to the bed, 5.30am, it reads. I sigh, slowly pushing the covers off of me to get ready for work, but I remain in my place, too tired to stand up and move to the bathroom. Why am I still staying in his house? Shouldn't I find myself a place to stay in or something?

I wince as I think of the idea, Jungkook wouldn't like that, he would get mad and lose his temper on me, and that's the last thing I want right now. I finally make a move away from the bed and into the bathroom.

I wash my face with hot water, making sure I am fully awake and not asleep anymore, not that I sleep anymore anyway. Ever since Jungkook has never been in sight, I stay up some nights, wondering why he never comes here, what might have happened to him.

I stop thinking about it, brush my teeth, and move towards the shower with a sigh.

After showering, I start dressing up to go to work, choosing a basic outfit that consists of a black pencil skirt and a white shirt that I tuck inside of the skirt. I put on simple makeup, then wear black heels to match the outfit.

As I quietly open the door of my room, I notice a delicious smell coming from the kitchen and decide to move towards it.

Lucy was standing there, her back was the first thing I saw as I entered the kitchen. She was focused on cooking what looked like scrambled eggs that she didn't notice me standing there. I smile at her figure and move towards her.

"Good morning Lucy," I tell her with a smile, causing her to flinch a little.

"Oh good morning Miss, how was your sleep," she responds, returning the smile.

"It was great", I lie.

"That's good to hear", she moves towards me now, handing me my breakfast. I mumble a thank you as I start eating, wondering if I ask her about Jungkook, will she be able to tell me where he is?

"Lucy I've got a question, Do you perhaps know anything about Jungkook?"

"Sir hasn't been here for quite some time", she replies, "But he might be at the apartment he owns, he goes there some times as far as I know".

"Oh", I crack a smile at her, "Thank you"

Once I was done with my food, I thank Lucy once more, then move towards the house doors, motioning outside to go to the bus stop. Ever since Jungkook has gone, loads has changed, and one of them being that I started going back to taking the bus instead of the driver.

I smile at the security guards as I move out of the mansion's gates and into the empty street. The closest bus stop was around 20 minutes away, which meant I had to rush there before the bus leaves without me.

On my way to the bus station, I wonder what has happened to my father's wife, Is she going to leave me live my life like a normal adult? Or will she try to take me away once again? Shouldn't I worry about walking around in the empty street alone?

What does she even want from me? Doesn't she own all my fathers belongings now, then why doesn't she leave me alone and live with him without bothering me.
