"Have you a girlfriend yet?" My father asks sitting on the chair in front of the desk, while I stand in front of the door. I look him in the eye, thinking of an answer.

My eyebrows furrow, I shouldn't have to think twice, I should proudly say that I have one, but instead I choose to stay quite.

Why aren't I saying anything?

"What's that to you anyway?" I ask, getting tired of the conversation.

"Jungkook, girlfriend or not, we want you back", he sighs, slowly standing up and moving towards me. He looked just as exhausted as I did.

"I'll think of it", I mutter as I look at him, he nods at me a final time, before pulling me into a hug. I don't reply to the hug, this man has done more bad to my mother than good, I still haven't forgotten the pain in my mother's eyes while she was explaining the whole thing.

"It was nice seeing you again", he mutters back, pulling away from the hug and moving out of my office door. I take in a deep breath, finally, he's gone.

I remain standing in the same position I did when he was hugging me, thinking of what he has said. They want me back? Why? They've lived 7 years without me, why do they want me back now?

I sigh, why does everything have to be this complicated? I hesitate as I look back at the door, I should go talk to Soe Yeon. Moving out of my office door, I move towards Soe Yeons, wondering what she was doing. I scan the room the moment I enter, she's not here?

My eyebrows furrow as I look at her desk, she was meant to sort out the contract papers that were placed on the desk. Instead, the contract papers look like they haven't been touched.

I sit down on her seat, where did she go? I spin in the chair as I look around, it was my first time spending time in her office.

As I look around, I think of Soe Yeon and all that she's been through because of me. For the past months, she's been supportive and nice to me, while I chose to be cold to her the whole time. I left her alone for the past month or so when I knew that the right thing to do was to talk to her about my worries and problems.

I hear a soft knock coming from the door, taking me away from my thoughts. "I am sorry sir," the lady at the door says, causing my eyebrow to go up in confusion, what is she here for? "I had to drop off a folder for Soe Yeon to go through".

I nod, "Where is she?"

"She left around half an hour ago", she replied almost immediately.

"Why".

"I don't really know sir", she responds, her voice getting softer, "She hasn't told anyone of her reason, she probably didn't feel good". I nod once more, standing up and moving towards the door, if she's sick, I have to check up on her.

The lady bows at me as I move out of the door and into the elevator, thinking of what could possibly be the reason of her leaving.

As I drive to the house, I wonder why I haven't kept her in the apartment instead, where it is much more calmer and relaxing. I close my eyes after I park the car, slowly exiting the car and entering the house.

When I walk in, I notice a few maids turn their heads towards me, their eyes widening as they meet mine. I force a smile as I look at them, nodding my head at them as I continue walking.

My steps slow down as I reach Soe Yeons room, sighing softly as I knock on the door, it's been a while since I've been to her room. "Come in", I hear her mumble after a few minutes, I quietly push the door open.
