On Earth walked a young girl Thalia Evergreen, aged eighteen. She had a diamond shaped face with naturally blonde wavy long hair that reached to her shoulder blades. Bright emerald eyes and slightly rosy cheeks. Wearing a maroon sweater and navy blue ripped jeans with simple black sneakers. Taking a breath, she walked into Olympian City, a place where many Greek gods walked about their everyday lives. There was no religion, except Hellenic being that many people every day would see the gods and goddesses walking around and doing everyday tasks. Their couldn't be any other religion, except the few atheists that don't believe, but are really just lying to themselves.

In her hands held the letter of her late mother, it was only a day after the death and she couldn't stay in her hometown any more, she needed to move somewhere. Constantly during the bus ride, she read the letter in her hands, revealing to her that she needed to go to Olympian city to find her father.

The city was completely foriegen to her, Thalia grew up in a small town hundreds of miles from here, now only arriving with just a backpack of essentials and a picture of her mother, nobody else, she had nobody else in her life except her mom. She liked it like that, it was calm and peaceful.

Olympian City was so grand and intimidating to her. All of the buildings were at least ten times taller than her with lights constantly up full of advertisements to almost anything a person could think of. People were shouting and almost shoving each other while walking in a sprint like motion to get to their destination. The area smelled damp and musty, probably from the rain that just passed mere hours ago.

She quickly took out a map of the city from which she snagged from a seat somebody left her. Thalia had little money and needed to find somebody tonight or else she would have to sleep on the street.

While walking down the street, people gave odd glances at her and sometimes glares, probably from her looking lost and holding a map.

"Excuse me," she tapped someone on the shoulder "I'm looking for a-"

"Get lost." they responded and shoved her back before walking on the street.

Needing to stop and hoping to find a person that would actually be nice to her, she found a bar not that far from her.

It was midday and it looked like the place was starting to become full. Their was shouting and people filling almost every seat.

"What can I get for you?" the bartender eyed her walking to the counter.

"I'm not here for a drink," she refused "I'm actually looking for a greek god or goddess, it's very important."

"Well, I often see a few at my establishment," Thalia became hopeful "however, that's only every month or so."

"I can't wait a month, this is urgent."

"Look, I don't have anything else for you. They are actually hard to come by after all, there are so many mortals here and very little of them."

"Can I get a glass of water then." She sat at the bar, in hopes that he wouldn't try to card her.

"Sure." He quickly filled up a glass and handed it to her.

Thalia was so thirsty that she almost chugged the whole glass.

"You must be new to the city I'm guessing."

"That easy to tell."

"Yep, you looked lost and nervous. Don't worry, the city doesn't bite much."

"It has so far for me."

"Cheer up, you'll like it." Thalia gave a slight smile from the comment. "So where are you from then?"

"Glovesdale."

"Geez, that's like twelve hundred miles from there, my sister lived there for a few years."

"Yep, sixty hour bus ride costing fifty bucks."

"So what brings you here?"

"Family I guess, I was told to come here by my mom and I hope that I find who I'm looking for."

"And you need a greek god for that."

"Yep, but I don't know where many are."

"They don't tend to interact with mortals except for a few."

"Who?"

"There's Athena, Asclepius, the muses, but that's all I can think of. They're constantly busy, so good luck trying to carve out time with them."

Thalia slumped back in her seat, defeated. All this time spent coming here for nothing.

"I know one goddess you can find." A man beside Thalia spoke

"Who?"

"Aphrodite, she owns a burlesque show down on Siren street. Almost there all the time, she's a real party person."

"Thank you." Thalia rushed out of the bar and over to Siren street, almost sprinting.

It clearly looked like a place few would wander to if looking for a nightclub. Lights were everywhere with some areas looking slightly vandalized by spray paint. Right in front of her, a ginormous sign said 'Aphrodiote's Beauties Burlesque'.

Thalia smilied out of hope, and quickly walked into the establishment where she was met by a person cleaning up the bar area.

"We're closed, come back at five."

"Well the door was open."

"Then leave so I can lock it."

"I'm not here for the show. I was told I would find Aphrodite here."

"Aphrodite is too busy with interviews, she certainly doesn't have the time to see-" At that moment, the goddess of beauty herself walked into the room.

Aphrodite looked just like people pictured and imagined her. Golden blonde hair that waved all the way down to her ankles. She had piercing blue eyes and full red lips. Aphrodiote was what people called the perfect body with having an hourglass waistline and being curvy. She wore what looked like a red cocktail dress with some glitter dusted on top and four inch black heels. Her nails and makeup were done to match her outfit. with underlays of glitter and brightness to it. She walked with slight sass with her hips swaying slightly, after all the is the goddess of beauty.

"Do we have another person auditioning to be a part of my show?" She asked

Thalia couldn't speak, she's never seen a goddess right in front of her, only heard from other people about them.

"I see you're speechless, it's not everyday you see perfection."

"I'm not here to audition."

"Then why are you here? We don't open till five."

"I actually need to get into Mount Olympus, and being that only gods can open the door, I needed to find one, so here I am."

"What business do you have on Olympus, we don't have our mortal meeting day for months, and no other times are mortals allowed up there, that's the rules."

"But this is urgent."

"No can do, I have a show to prepare for." Aphrodite began to walk away

"Just listen to me for a moment damnit!" She yelled, shocking herself and everyone around her; no mortal has ever yelled at a god and lived to tell the tale.

"I like your determination and spunk," She smiles "reminds me of my younger self."

"I need to get onto Mount Olympus because my dad is up there."

"Oh really, I've heard that a million times, what makes you so different."

"Well if I tell you, then you have to let me up."

"Alright then, I'm listening."

"My dad just so happens to be the king of the gods; Zeus."

Aphrodiote became shocked along with the bartender even dropping a glass with it shattering to the ground into pieces.

"Clean that up." She pointed at him before grabbing Thalia's arm and dragging her outside.
