On Mount Olympus sat Zeus with his wife Hera. It was atop many clouds as they sat wearing the traditional clothing of ancient greece. Hera's hair was dark brown and pulled into an updo. Marble pillars were around the clouds with golden arches connecting them. Zeus had short white hair with deep set eyes and a serious resting face. He wore a laurel wreath on his head and always kept a lightning bolt by his side.

Aphrodite stood at the gates of Olympus with Thalia, fixing her up to look decent. "Okay, say what you need to, but if he smites you down, I told you so."

"Aphrodite, is that you?" He asks

"Yes, with a plus one." she walked into his line of sight as well as Thalia

"You brought me a mortal, you know that this isn't allowed."

"Good luck." Aphrodite whispered into Thalia's ear before quickly leaving the room.

Thalia looked up at Zeus with such awe.

"Get on with it." He exclaims

"Your grace, heavenly, lord, highness, what do I say-"

"Doesn't matter, continue."

"Recently, my mom passed away-"

"Look, I can't bring people back from the dead for the hundredth time, I'm sorry for your loss."

"That's not it. My mom left me this note saying who my dad is, and she wrote down your name."

Zeus looked shocked and turned to Hera to see her glaring at him.

"There is no proof of this claim though."

"Do you want me to bring the fates in?" Hera condescendly asked him

"That won't be necessary." He walked over to Thalia and looked at the letter that she held out to him.

With one look, he recognized the handwriting, then the name and looked up at her to recognize a face.

"Zeus." Hera glared at him

"It was just one time."

"It's always just one time, I need to go and rethink a few things out."

Zeus watched her leave the room and looked back at Thalia. "I don't know for certain, but if it's the case, it makes you a demigod."

"What are you going to do then?"

"Well, I can't let a demigod, especially one that might be my daughter not harness her abilities, do you know them yet?"

"No, I never thought I was a demigod until now. Never thought of the idea."

"Well, I shall send you to live with a goddess for now. Artemis might be able to help you out, she lives in the forest a few miles outside of Olympian City."

"Not you?"

"Not until all of this becomes sorted out, I can't take in a mortal that might be a demigod without proof. You are welcome back, just not when Hera is around."

"Yes."

Thalia was about to leave when she had a pounding question to ask.

"Zeus."

"Yes." He turned to her

"Did you ever know about me at all whatsoever."

"No, I can see all mortals, but I never thought of you. Your mother was just a person I wanted to make happy and bring life to her, not actually create life. It saddens me to hear about her death. I hope she was a good mother."
